dont you have a better source then the the daily mail?
New theme music also a boxFair point. Maybe we wait for a trade.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.I'm not really shocked this they are getting rid of Percy with the allegations against him if they are true.
Plus Xavier was the least interesting character in the first season. Plus since they are moving away from romance, well I don't see much point in the character after season one.

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadEven if he were found not guilty, I'm sure the producers don't want the controversy.
The show picked up a National Television Award last night, the cast couldn't accept it due to the strikes, but one of them was British so they had the honour
I'm watched four episodes so far. I like the humor and the mystery, but it's starting to wear on my nerves how every boy falls for Wednesday even though she's a huge asshole.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Yeah the romance as a whole seems to be the biggest point of contention in the fandom. I am okay with but feel like it was not needed personally.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadI'm all caught up, and my main takeaway was that I was glad Enid wasn't secretly evil.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. If there is romance in the second season, I hope it is between Yoko and Divina.
Wednesday and Enid don't convince me as a couple.
I like Tyler, but I don't think they are going to continue their romance.

The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Bumping with more news: Hollywood Reporter says they’re giving Uncle Fester a spinoff: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/wednesday-spinoff-development-netflix-1235764544/
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Cool. Uncle Fester in the show was great.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadI think if it’s gonna work, they’ll need to pivot from dark fantasy drama more towards comedy.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.I mean their take on Fester was already one of the more comedic character in the show.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadGiven what we have seen of Fester, they could go into the The Caper direction. Something like White Collar, but more serialized and with a dark comedy tone maybe?
You lost!So I wonder if Xavier gets written out of the show altogether or if they recast the role so they don't have to change anything they're writing. I don't mind the character even though I felt like they just wanted us to accept him and accept his romance with Wednesday rather than make either feel more earned though.
The romances mostly went through the motions because they were trying to basically do the Addams Family version of Riverdale—though the show clearly matured beyond that certainly. I saw them as just obligatory because this kind of show was known for doing stuff like that all the time. However prominently that stuff remains moving forward also remains to be seen certainly.
I mean Jenna flat out said that at least for season 2 there is no romance. So, I think they should just write him out. His main role was love interest and if they don't have romance there is no reason to keep him. Especially, since well Xavier had no character really.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadMake Enid the love interest already.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.I personally vibed more with the Tyler romance until the reveal of him being the Hyde of course—and yet there's untapped potential there though. I have thoughts on where they should go with him as the Hyde moving forward and basically it'd be along the same lines of how Grant Ward went in Agents of SHIELD—or rather territory could be treaded with Tyler that they only got to do so much of with Ward because by then, it was too late. Tyler being defined beyond just being the Hyde would be a great arc to give him.
As for Xavier, give him both a different actor and better writing and you got something I think.
Or there's always that. Haha.

"Make Enid the love interest already."
People make comments like this, and then complain that the public who support straight relationships don't know how to appreciate platonic relationships.
If they are going to give Wednesday a female love interest, it should be with another woman, but with Enid they should remain platonic.
I think BigBadShadow was joking. (Feel free to correct me if I am wrong Shadow)
Also, the problem fans had with the canon romances was not the fact that they were straight but rather they thought they were badly handled. At least in my experience. Most Wenclair shippers I have encountered tend to also be fans of her romance with Joel in the Addams Family Values for example.

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadYeah as I said, the romances were added as obligatory elements it felt because it was a teen drama of Addams Family and Riverdale thrived on not just being a darker and edgier version of the story, but for having so many ships too. They didn't bother me and yet I still got why they were criticized so heavily though.
I'm good with however they decide to represent the relationship between Wednesday and Enid later on whether or not the writers decide to commit to Wenclair. The characters, actresses, chemistry and probably the writing too are all strong enough that I think they can handle it.
According to the Daily Mail, Percy Hynes White is being written out of the show: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-12454313/Percy-Hynes-White-dropped-Netflix-Wednesday-sex-assault-allegation.html
