We Are All Medafighters

Medabots is a Video Game/Anime Franchise parodying the Mons genre, focused on kids and modifiable robot toys powered by Medals (Medabots) as they battle each other in competitions and tournaments. The most common form of fight is the Submission Robattle where Medabots compete for a part from the loser.

The Medabot itself is controlled through a Medawatch, though it isn't impossible for a Medabot to ignore orders.

The Medabot is made of 5 parts, the Tin-Pet (The Endoskeleton), Left Arm, Right Arm, Head/Torso, Legs, and the Medal (The Brain). These components alter how a Medabot functions in battle, from alternative weapons to alternate modes of transport. The parts can be individually damaged and should a Medabot take enough overall damage, the Medal ejects and the functions cease.

It is 22nd Century Earth, set some years after the original run of the anime in a bit of a Broad Strokes canon, certain elements will appear, others will not. The important part is the presence of Medabots, Medals, and Meda-Devices, the Meda-Devices is a tidbit purely devised so people could keep an aesthetic style they liked instead of having to rely on watches.

Spirits isn’t officially part of this continuity, but elements from it such as being able to see through a Medabot’s eyes would appear. The complete set of elements would be up to players to determine in the RP itself.

I hope to also explore more of the 22nd century setting by looking at the advances that come from personal robot friends that are made en masse.

Also as a quick note, Rare Medals and the Medaforce are currently on ban for characters to prevent anyone from starting off super overpowered.

In the Aftermath of the latest World Robattle Tournament, several Medafighters meet up at a rest-stop and discuss their goals for the future, as well as hope for the next World Robattle Tourney, and from there… Well, let’s hope the magic happens.

The RP itself is a sandbox meant to explore the world, players will be free to come up with whatever stories they want to explore in the setting. Be it fights, Tourneys, big arcs with villains, and so on. The kicking off point is from an area that gives ample opportunity to explore, interact, and get started.

• Name: Who are they
• Age: Could be kids or adults, Medabots are for everyone
• Pronouns:

• Backstory/Personality: What are they like and why are they into Robattles?
• Skills: Are they a tactician, a maintenance type individual, are they all rounded, what do they bring that their partner can’t live without

Medabot

• Name: Who are they
• Pronouns:
• Personality/Medal: What does their medal look like and what personality does it bring
• Type: KBT, CAT, SAK, BOK, etc. What model of body do they wear? You can even make your own Medabot types if you wish.
• Loadout - Medabots work on subsystem damage, so what is their standard loadout and what do their parts do?
