The Callisto Protocol vs Dead Space match has come and gone and all I have left is this review and hardcore mode. Also PUBG is pretty important somehow.

Mandalore Gaming review Genesis Rising: The Universal Crusade. It's a strategy game where you play the a space captain for an evil genocidal human empire that was founded by Space Jesus getting shank by aliens. It have some cool ideas but doesn't commit to any of them, even the tone is inconsistence. Some notable ideas include

- Apparently God is real and he created life and expanded the universe just to piss of a living planet.

- Humanity is now using a type of organic ship that can harvest dead bodies and drain blood to improve itself. Even the "hologram" is the ship created a living shapeshifting dummy that mimic what the people on the other side are saying.

- The final bosses are the PC from the alternative ending, fighting to decide which ending the game going to have

- The bad guy evil plan is to go back in time with the current tech to build a new human empire that would be even more awesome than this one.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Kingmaker's bigger, grander sequel.

Aliens Dark Descent takes the Colonial Marines to a distant colony world to get sick tactical ownzones on xenomorphs without whatever nonsense was happening in the actual Colonial Marines game.

Myth the Fallen Lords sends you and the forces of Light on a marathon to the east in a last ditch effort to save the last free city and stop the Dark in a blaze of tactical action. But what lies beneath?

There's actually a third game that's a prequel. But it wasn't made by Bungie. That said, it did answer some of the unresolved questions from the original two games.

Gotta say that Mandalore Gaming is one of the better review channels out there. The genre lost a legend when Total Biscuit passed, but while not quite on his level Mandalore is a nice alternative.

His review of Pathfinder: WOTR actually convinced me to buy the game. Though the fact it was on sale on Steam at the time didn't hurt either.

That almost never happens (a review convincing me to get a game I mean).

Finally got around to watching the Myth 2 review and bloody heck, of course Mandalore found a connection between Myth and Marathon somehow. [lol]

Also, is there a trope about how something becomes less interesting the moment you actually show it? Because what he said about the Mykridia is something that does happen quite often.

Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.

[up][up][up] He does meanders to a bunch of points, but does so in a way that feels more like covering all aspects of the game instead a digression.

Legion the Legend of Excalibur was an ex-Westwood studio's answer to Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance, and creating this review has convinced me it may be a malevolent entity.

STASIS is a sci-fi horror adventure game in the same wheelhouse as Sanitarium, taking inspirations from titles like Alien and Dead Space. Don't expect anything good to happen to anybody.

Though that was already well established in the original STASIS. Bone Totem added religion to the mix. Think rampant corporatism is bad? How about rampant corporatism mixed with religion, complete with its own paywalled "Heaven"?

Mandalore describes it as an Amazon Prime afterlife. That line was one of the most disturbing things in that vid.
