This was brought up elsewhere.
The answer is "Google did it, not us, so we can't fix it directly".

I'm already paying an annual subscription to the site to remove ads, but I'm leaving my ad-blocker on for a reason (adware finds a way on other sites that do this sort of subscription model, and I'm not risking it). Don't know what exactly changed, but now there's a white banner at the base of the screen that takes up a good chunk of space and tells me to shut off my ad-blocker.
Is there a way we could shut that off for the people who are paying subscribers, but leave it on for the free users?
