Prologue

6 friends were having a normal game night. They had just finished playing Candy Land Jr.®️ (Patent Pending) when they were searching for another game.

They found a strange game, called Dodj or Darr, in their closet. With none of them being that smart, they pulled it out and decided to play it.

"Oh hey, Dodj or Darr. I feel like I might've played it before." [Charles rubs the back of his head sheepishly.] "Though, it's been a while. I don't remember how to play it. Wanna crack a shot at it?"

"... meh. Even without memories I still have a fond appreciation for shoddy-looking games like these."

Selfie looks at the box, its GLORIOUS GRAPHICS and EXQUISITE GRAMMAR drawing his attention.

"Lets give it a shot. Whats the worst that could happen?"

Selfie attempts to strike a smile, but it would require a small miracle to make that frown come off. Regardless, his tone indicates excitement.

Charles rolls the die. He gets a 6.

Charles lands on a Skull and Bones. He gets a Destinee card!

Charles’ Destinee card: “give your next Darr to the next player (this turn does not count).”

Charles’ Daar card: “Sing The U.S. National Anthem at a Mexican Bistro.”

As a test of bravery, Charles completes the challenge!

His Destinee card for completing that challenge, “Add +%10 to a skill of your choosing.“

Selfie gets up, seeing the new, unfortunately outdated for this era form his legs have taken. It would be serviceable if he was a pirate, but unfortunately...

Selfie mimes flipping a table over.

"AaaaAAAugh, I knew it! I knew this thing was cursed. Thanks, cod-forsaken luck of mine.." Selfie facepalms as he sits down on the ground, with a 'fwomp' and the 'plonk' of the wood his peg legs are made out of.

Selfie crosses his arms. Normally he would frown, but The Frown(tm) remains ever-present, anxiously tapping his newfound peg-legs against the floor.

"Jumanji?" [Charles scratches his head and readjusts his sombrero again.] "Thought that was a movie. Didn't know they had a real game based on it."

"Okay, okay, let me try something."

Selfie attempts to get up, falls over, attempts again, wobbles a bit and walks over to the Dodj or Darr board game.

He then slams the lid shut.

"I hereby declare this game cancelled!"

"..."

Unfortunantely for Selfie, the wooden substitutes for his legs still remain.

"WHY?!"

Selfie opens the lid of the box again and then sits down on the floor, when a realization hits him.

"Do we- Do we get stuck with this forever or..."
