Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

I totally agree, the lighting around the eyes highlights the wrinkles on the face. There's also a lot of purple in the image.

I got nothing else to add except I love the use of C as a U in the logo. I hope this turns out good and satisfies people.

Considering the Squad is comprised primarily of supervillains & some anti-heroes with its boss being an infamously controlling & at times vile & corrupt government agent, Superman doesn’t really have to be portrayed in a dark way for them to want to hunt him down.

The squad is just a bunch of assholes being commanded by assholes in the name of “national interests” after all.

Like I said earlier, check out Killing Gunther, this scenario is almost exactly like that movie, except replace Superman with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

A new DC FanDome event listing has revealed the full title of the game: Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.

With that in mind, I remember coming across an apparent 4chan leak from a week ago on Reddit. Due to correctly revealing the once-unknown name for this project, I thought it might be worth sharing. As usual with leaks, take it with a grain of salt until August 22nd's FanDome confirms or debunks the following information:

"Suicide Squad"

Hmm, could be interes -

"Kill the Justice League"

Could they have think even more an "Ow the Edge" title? lol

Well, he is a Shark.

So this is mostly the movie line up, King Shark from Batman: Assault on Arkham, and Cheetah, who's never been part of the Squad as far as I know. Well, they got Boomerang, Deadshot (two classic Members), and Harley (who's pull a Robin and becoming more associated with the Squad than she is with Joker lately), so I feel like they got everyone important. Enchantress was also a classic member of the team I think, so they've got a wide range of representation of the Squad's history across media. All they need is Rick Flagg somewhere, and member a few characters from other incarnations and we'll have a party.

Cheetah's been on the Squad before. Not for very long, mind.

Very to the point title.

Though presumably other heroes & villains will be involved.

And things will most likely not be what they appear. Okay I'm calling it, we're actually gonna be fighting the Crime Syndicate posing as the League.

I wager things won't be as they seem, but still... going to war with the Justice League is an interesting premise for a video game.

It'll be telling how Rocksteady gets to "cut loose" portraying all the various skill sets and superpowers here.

I just now realized this is prolly the closest we’ll get to a video-game adaptation of The Boys.

Didn't think of that, but you might be right.

Key difference though is that the League are actual good guys while The Seven only act like it in public.

If Batman dying is canon to the Arkhamverse, then perhaps the Justice League's counter-measures to any villain plots will be weakened without his upkeep. The League gets brainwashed somehow due to a super villain plot, and the US government is forced to deploy the Squad to kill them.

Would have liked Bronze Tiger.

Another theory I’ve seen is that the League is under the control of Darkseid & the team wins up being the ones who have to stop them.

...Why can't it just be a 'We're the bad guys' game? Why do the 'Bad Guys' need to have some empathetic motive that makes the Justice League worse?

That's always the issue I've had with villain stories. They're not villains. They're heroes with an emo phase.

It should be pointed out that Suicide Squad (at least as depicted by John Ostrander) was more a Morality Kitchen Sink rather than a team composed entirely of villains. Nightshade, Bronze Tiger and even Vixen have been members.

So what, essentially make the league out to be incompetent without the almighty Batman around to direct their efforts? Because that's kinda what a suggestion like this comes across as.

You joke, but DC has already made an entire video game and comic line about Batman being humanity's best chances of defending its freedom when Superman and most of the other Leagers become evil.

Rocksteady accused of inaction after a majority of its small number of female employees sent a letter to management about sexual harassment back in 2018 and nothing was done.

I'm not even surprised.

As i said in the other forums goddamn it.

Maybe it's best Rocksteady go back to hibernation after this and sort this crap out.
