Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

NOOOO! YOU NO GET PAST US!! (Haban exclaims, firing as big of a fireball as he can manage.)
(Not only does the fireball miss Boo by a mile, but Haban and Arrow realize that their ability to make another fireball has been exhausted from the size of that last one.)
Oh no, we has been defeated! (Arrow says.)
And Swalot people no even hit us!! (Haban screeches, indignant.)
Way to go there, Boo. (Friday says, giving a thumbs up.)
Yeah, yeah, thanks. Where was I supposed to go next again? (Boo mutters.)
Some vile creature from another universe whom, or so I'm told, desires to become the only one of himself across all universes. (Caedia says.) I don't believe you yourself have to worry about him. Several of our friends are out trying to defeat him as we speak. I wish I could have joined them, but I was...indisposed, for lack of a better term, when they were making plans to leave. I don't wish to talk about it.

Princess Wanda? Have you figured out how to control the suit? (Sidon asks Wanda.)
Yeah! I think I've got it-WHOA! (Wanda is a bit startled when the helmet of her Power Suit blinks a few times, allowing her to read the heat signatures of everyone else.) Okay, yeah, it's working now. Man, this thing is sick. I almost wish I could have always been Swimming Fish so I could have these crazy suits all the time.
...Kumpel, consider yourself lucky you WEREN'T born a Mawkin. (Greta says, knowing much better than Wanda about the ways the Mawkin have rolled under Raven Beak.)
"Okay, yeah, I guess Ollie fits the goofy sidekick role, but being a princess doesn't mean I spontaneously sing about everything, 'kay?"
The Fourth-Placers' Revenge
Stanford's Lair, Looniversity Room
Sabre and Tricky were both taken aback by the books' attack, but quickly got into combat stances. Sabre slashed away with his blade, aiming to split the books' spines. Tricky, meanwhile, swept his fiery breath around to set them ablaze.
Sabre's ears went back as he saw just how many fire attacks were being used. "Watch it with those flames!" he warned. "One bad shot and this whole place goes up like tinder!"
"Sorry!" said Tricky, switching to simple headbutts.
Upon seeing the others restored, the EarthWalker prince perked up.
"All right, back to normal!" he said. "Now let's get out of here!"
"Couldn't agree more," said Sabre. Together, the two of them did their best to cover for the others while making their way for the exit.
Stanford's Lair, Tribute Quarters
Seeing the floor starting to liquify, Kaidan quickly looked for a safe spot, but saw none. Thinking quickly, he used his omni-tool to fire a cryonic blast into the ground in front of him to help solidify it, then leapt off of it to grab onto Veena.
"What do we do now?" he asked, struggling to keep his grip on the snake. "We can't stay here!"
Stanford's Lair, Jet Room
The cat rookie flinched and Shepard muttered an expletive as the lights went down. The two quickly turned on their armour suit's flashlights and looked around.
"That wasn't a normal power fluctuation," said Shepard. "We've got company."
The Commander took out a pistol and loaded in a disruptor-ammo mod, then motioned for the cat rookie to get on the controls.
"Get that teleporter working, and fast. We'll need reinforcements sooner rather than later."
The rookie whimpered a bit in fear, but nodded and ran to the control panel. She began poking around, frantically trying to fix it...
Meanwhile, Somewhere Completely Different
Outside the Arena, Nine-Tailed Cat's Green Squad of tribute clones made their rounds, a distinctly different Commander Shepard leading them. Seeing as they still hadn't come under attack, they were sharing stories of past adventures to pass the time and help the newly-assigned members get acquainted with the rest.
"...and that's when I used a specialised omni-tool program to finish diverting the power before he was even done talking," said Shepard.
The rest of the squad laughed. "Sounds like he didn't plan for that," said Espeon, one of the recent transfers.
"Impressive," said Kit. "I'm surprised Nine-Tailed Cat didn't send you on the away team, with tech skills like yours."
Shepard shrugged. "Seems he needed me more here," the Commander said. "It's not a bad choice - even if an enemy gets past my drones and turrets, I'll be there to fix up any damage they do to the Arena."
"Yes, you can," said Kit. "I just can't help but wonder how they're faring right now."
"I'm sure they're fine," said Shepard, putting a hand on Kit's shoulder reassuringly. "You said your dimensional counterpart's just as capable as you are, so the same should be true of mine."
Kit nodded. "I suppose."
"Besides," continued Shepard, "what are the odds that they'll run into something only an engineer could handle? And even if they do, they've got other tech specialists there - it's not like I had to crawl through the vents in the Collector base myself, after all."
The squad shared a laugh over this, then went back to swapping stories, with the Monk stepping up to tell about venturing into Looks to the Moon's flooded superstructure.
ZDR, Outside Lair
As Rivet continued to tinker with the broken Atomozoid parts, she got Henry's call. She flicked an ear at the word "citizens", but decided not to comment on it.
"We're here," she said. She put her communicator on speaker mode and turned to the others. "Sounds like the others are in trouble."
Ashley sighed. "Great. And the scouting party's not back yet." She looked around for a moment, considering their options, then motioned toward one of the Atomozoids. "Let's send them one of those things."
"Are you sure?" asked Saheeli. "It'd be hard to control it precisely over that distance."
"It's that or I really push the limits of my sniping range," said Ashley.
Rivet nodded, then tapped some buttons on her comm unit. "We'll send one of the robots your way," she told Henry. "Here are the command codes for it." She then turned to Ben and Peridot. "Who wants to do the honours?"
I like cute things. You gotta deal with it.

The Science Center, Safety Shelter
WALL-E and EVE were shared Round Robin characters between me and Albert in S118, back when he was active in ASAS. Since I wrote more for them than him, they now technically count as my characters (or at least my portrayal of them) after his ban. Like with Cadance in 6k1's Self-Discovery Arc last year, I hope this is alright.
"Yeah, but is there a way to safely deliver these mags to Ichi's bunker?" asks Juan.
"I can arrange that with Ichi if you want," says 6k1.
"Sure thing."
Meanwhile, Ally detects WALL-E and EVE's presence in the Arena. She remembers Hans Schmidt nominating them in S118 on Dave's behalf, and Hans considered letting WALL-E keep his Arena-acquired gravity powers after that season. Dave told her and 6k1 that he'll let them know about WALL-E's decision on that since gaining those powers rewired him for the worse... but they never heard from him since then.
Hopefully WALL-E made the wise choice on that, and I hope for the most optimal interaction between him and EVE.
Dark Stanford's Lair
Looniversity Classroom
The flying books get burned or torn apart by the group, while Steven knocks a few more away with his shield. Connie grabs his free hand and drags him back to the entrance, but suddenly, one lone book springs back to life, wreathed in flames, and lunges towards Tokage to bite him with its fiery fangs. The room's walls also begin to warp, and spikes that look like draconequus horns jut out from them towards the heroes. The entrance also gets blocked by another spike which juts in and out from the floor every few seconds.
"This must be more than just Voidlands stuff, Connie!" shouts Bismuth has she then breaks some of the spikes with her hammer arms.
"I don't think we can jump outta here!" says Steven as he looks at the entrance.
"Sure, we can!" says Connie as she continues holding his hand and observing the spike. "We jump at the count of 3!"
"But what about Tokage?!"
"And June, ya think there's a not-so-secret trapdoor in here somewhere?" asks Bismuth. "Maybe it's hidden behind one of these spikes or under the floor!"
Teleporter Room
Wanda would see the infrared images of the prisoners becoming clearer as they make their way down to the same floor as the whole team. They're now walking down the hallway, but they're still far from the rooms.
"Do you see anything or anyone out there?" asks Garnet.
Suddenly, a deep sinister cackle can be heard all over the room. Pearl shudders and wonders where it's coming from, but tries to focus on the teleporter and helps the Cat Rookie readjust its settings.
"P-P-Please don't glitch out on us again..." she mutters.
Meanwhile, Amethyst runs around looking for the source of the laugh, but the entire room shakes violently and knocks her, Garnet, and Pearl down, but miraculously not the teleporter.
"We are currently experiencing air turbulence," says the "pilot" on the intercom. "Please keep your seatbelts on until the seatbelt sign has been switched off... or NOT!"
Corrupted Quarters
Lapis holds out her hands for anyone who hasn't leapt out of the liquefying floor or grabbed onto Veena yet. She looks at the hallway up ahead and sees that its floor looks solid.
"Quick! Over there! Follow me!"
As she flies towards the hallway, a sand worm that looks like the Tatzlwurm rises out of the floor and shoots sand projectiles at the heroes.
"Watch out!" Lapis shouts as she dives away from them.
Outside
"What?! They're in trouble already?!" asks Peridot. "Allow me to send my Perizoid over to them!" She gestures Rivet to her Atomozoid.
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"

Dark Stanford's lair
Tokage gasped, taken off guard by a book suddenly catching fire then lunging at him. Fortunately, Dick and Elfin pushed him to safety, allowing Aaron to use Force Palm to destroy it, while Alex tried to defend the group as best as he could from the spikes with Dragon Claws.
"She's right. Someone is definitely behind this. There's a reason that flaming book was used against me, a Grass type." Tokage said to CAC.
"Y-You don't think... That's because of us?" Lucian said, starting to hyperventilate.
"Oh no! That ain't your fault, Lulu. The bad guys would be after us, with or without you anyway!" Alex reassured.
"But crap... We can't have Oscar and Lucian in harm's way!! We have to get out of here!" Aaron exclaimed.
"I'm not even sure that would help. Whoever's responsible, they know we're here." Tokage grunted.
"But we need to regroup!" Aaron said. Tokage silently agreed.
"Eeep!!" James yelped as he lost his balance and fell on the ground.
"Whoah!! We're running out of time!" Nick said, struggling to maintain his balance. Arthur was the only one who didn't have that problem, immediately taking flight and readying some arrows.
"Show yourself so that I can shoot you in the face, coward!!!" Arthur shrieked.
"Well isn't that a ugly looking bastard!" Scipion roared, throwing a Shadow Ball at the Tatzlwurm.
On her own, Freyja got hit by a sand projectile but managed to hold on to the wall. She leaped as far as she could to keep up with Lapis and Veena to reach for the exit.

Dark Stanford's Lair, Looniversity Classroom
Kirby, Bandana Dee, Elfilin, and Dedede walks into the room with the others.
Suddenly, the books start flying and attacking them.
"Aaaagh!" exclaimed Bandana Dee.
Kirby then tries to inhale some of the books, while Bandana Dee haphazardly jabs his spear at the books.

Maybe we can get to that door up there? (July asks, pointing to the door that Aaron and the others had used to get in here before.)
We came through that door when we were running from Dark Stanford, and that might take us toward him. (Oscar says.)
Then let's try to go through the door we came in here through in the first place. (August says, pointing toward it.)
Corrupted Quarters
(Veena emits a surprised squeal upon seeing the Tatzlwurm and scrambles to the solid-looking ground as fast as she can with everyone still holding on to her.)
I know THOSE weren't here before! (She says.)
(She swings the end of her tail toward it to try to strike it.)
Jet Room
Who is here?? (Sidon asks, bracing himself on one of the seats.)
(Much to Wanda's concern, she notices something very unsettling: The two colorful silhouettes of her parents along with the Equestrians bearing down on the Jet Room.)
...It's my parents! (She gasps.) Okay, everybody, I'm not Wanda right now, I'm Swimming Fish, the Mawkin guy who decided to join you. I dunno what's going on here, but I can't let them know I'm here.
Someone tell me they're here coming to help us... (Greta says.)
(Cleo is already starting to pick up on hostile vibes from outside the jet room and frowns (even more so than usual).) ...They are not.
(This prompts the others to get ready for a possible fight, but Wanda is now worried that her fears that her parents were faking their prior kindness and regret for their previous actions are about to be validated.)
(Henry scrambles for his communicator.) Yes! Thank you! Please hurry! (He says to Rivet.)

Braids From S286 Not Included
The Arena
Shortly before the horn sounds, Goyle tries tricking Angelo into getting some "Death Eater Insurance", but since he didn't really think the scam through, Angelo sees right through it and leaves. Goyle then briefly covers his eyes when Baron casts a light spell around the Cornucopia, while EVE looks away, locks her target on Katniss, and fires her Arm Cannon at her. The Cornucopia's light is so glaring, it blocks out Crabbe's demise, and the host decides to troll the audience by not telling them why he died. WALL-E, on the other hand, just moves away from the Cornucopia, rolling his treads faster upon seeing the male Chameleon scaring the others away.
Later that day, Goyle has a duel with Omi and tries firing some dark magic spells at him, but the latter bests him with his martial arts. Goyle then walks away from him, fuming, and spends the whole day ranting that Crabbe would've been able to help him defeat him if it weren't for the former's "stupid" death.
Meanwhile, EVE floats around looking for special plants, but she suddenly glitches out. She doesn't realize that Peacemaker found a terminal connected to her interface and hacked into it.
As for WALL-E, he gets asked by The Glowing Man album if he's ever heard of the god of time and space, and he just adjusts his binocular eyes up and down, confused.
The Science Center, Safety Shelter
Juan watches the season with 6k1 and facepalms at the host trolling them about Crabbe's death.
"Of course he accidentally set himself on Fiendfyre! Why didn't you just show that?!" he yells at the screen.
"To be fair, he could've died in some other way." 6k1 shrugs. "He could've been blinded by the light and then tripped and fell into a bottomless pit."
He may be sadistic like Morgan, says Ally, but intelligence is his weakest attribute.
"Fair enough, I guess..." Juan shrugs back.
6k1 then calls Ichi about her male counterpart and Polar Vortex's last-minute birthday gift for Bezier.
"Can you help us deliver these art mags to him?"
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"
"The opportunity was right there, Pow-Pow. Or should I call ya the Art Devil?"
He answers the call.
"Hoo boy, seems like a lotta variants are coming out to play lately. Anywho, I can 'port Bezzy's gifts over here before you can say Quidditch."
He does just that.
"More presents for ya, Chainsaw Pone."

Stacy: (Sees Alphamon singing with three Pokemon and four other tributes) Well, would you look at that? A Digimon interacting with some Pokemon. Nice.
Stacy: Also, 6k1, sucks that Crabbe died right off the bat, however that happened.

The Arena
That night, Goyle sneaks into the kitchens and casts Accio to pull the lamb sauce towards him, but he's immediately arrested by some Aurors for it. EVE, on the other hand, enters the same restaurant as Goyle but takes the main entrance instead. She scans the carrot cake on display, pays for it, and stores it in her torso's compartment, but she short-circuits and melts into a puddle.
Unaware of his girlfriend's shutdown, WALL-E sees Pauline approach him, who kneels in front of him and holds out her hand, telling him that he's her "Soul Friend".
So-UL Fr-IEND? he says with a chipper tone as he shakes her hand.
The next day, WALL-E approaches the female Chameleon and holds out his hand to her, thinking that she's another "Soul Friend", but she tricks him into learning how to hack and create computer viruses.
N-ot Fr-IEND???
Meanwhile, Atlas warns Goyle, Angelo, and LLENN that the Noise is coming. Goyle looks around, confused, and drops to the ground with the others. They try not to move a muscle as the Noise passes by, and Goyle doesn't think of casting the Disillusionment Charm on himself.
The Science Center, Safety Shelter
6k1 chuckles. "Well, I didn't expect Stacy to show up again after S194 either! But anyway, hope Bezier likes it!"
She then sees the art mags being teleported out of the Shelter and thanks Ichi before continuing watching the season.
Meanwhile, Juan cringes at Dorugoramon sucking the Ninjask (and Darkness) in with a black hole out of sheer rage.
"Y-You might wanna take that back, Stace..."
"That makes me wonder what would happen if a Pokémon encounters a Temtem or a Pal..." says 6k1.
There are more universes where monsters are caught and trained for battle than we initially thought, says Ally.
"Indeed." The female DM nods. "But anyway, Stacy, I'm not that bothered by Crabbe's death. Unlike Draco, he's got no redeeming qualities as a Death Eater."
And for clarification, she did NOT nominate him and Gregory Goyle in hopes that they will perish in the Arena. She nominates outright villainous tributes strictly for research purposes, although she did not start doing so until Season 119.
"Yeah... for a long time, I thought nominating them made be a villain myself, and I didn't want to repeat Bale's mistake when he nominated the Legion of Doom in S41."
"Why? What happened?" asks Juan.
"After their Arena time, they escaped, did some background scheming for several more seasons, and then terrorized the Multiverse, just like Raven Beak, but we nominators still managed to defeat them!"
"Damn! I'm sure the ZDR team can defeat Raven Beak the same way!"
"Yeah, I hope so too! But anyway, I don't let my villain tributes know that I'm data cloning them, and if the real deals are still alive and at large, I make sure the authorities give them their due punishment."
"Same with me. I didn't want the real Dogo to get any ideas from the Arena when I nominated him for S306."
Underground Bunker
"Ya want me to draw up some chainsaws and put them on your horn and hooves, Bezzy?" asks Power.
Miranda and Star gasp and faint, while Bezier frantically shakes his head.
"Nonononono, that's going too far!" he says.
"Don't worry, they'll just be props!" says Power.
"Nahhhh, I'm still gonna pass on those..."
Ichi then tells Bezier that Juan and PV delivered him another gift.
"What, really?! Where?"
"It's at the Teleportation Room," says Power. "Lemme get 'em for ya, one moment..."
She trots off and later returns with the art mags.
"Sorry that they didn't wrap them, though, this came on short notice."
"It's okay! I wasn't expecting a gift from them, let alone a faaancy one, but it's the thought that counts!"
Bezier smiles and flips through one of the mags. "Oh wow, these are great! Maybe I'll get some ideas from here on how to finish my and Vivi's comic!"

The Fourth-Placers' Revenge
The Arena, Season 318
Jack took up her position as the season started, ready to unleash her incredible biotic powers on the other tributes. However, just as the horn sounded, a massive explosion hit her podium, as well as D.Va and York's nearby. She couldn't get her barriers up in time and collapsed, the last thing she saw being Megumin walking away with the detonator in hand.
Elsewhere in the Arena, Yi Sang and Miranda Lawson took advantage of the crowds to film a live episode of their very own show. However, as Miranda was making her way off the set, Miranda was attacked and beaten down by Angelo and Skullolady working in tandem. She narrowly managed to survive, hitting Skullolady with a biotic slam to stagger her long enough to make an escape.
Miranda spent the night hanging out with the Frogadier and quickly hit it off. She decided to write and play a song all about how they were now her best friend in the world. For all her genetically-engineered talents, bass playing was not among them, and she ended up giving a comically bad performance.
The next day, as Miranda made her rounds, she overheard Wolfrun saying that she may not have been his S.O., but she was as good as them. "I'm more of an X.O. than an S.O.," she said with a smile, "but thanks."
That night, Miranda decided to see how a Cerberus officer would fare against the Greek goddess of the underworld herself and approached Persephone. "I challenge you to a bullet hell duel!" she declared, holding up her submachine gun. She did her best to spray bullets in an elegant pattern, but with them moving faster than sound rather than at a reasonably-dodgeable speed and no convenient hitbox dissonance, Persephone was soon shot full of holes.
On the third day, LLENN found Miranda hiding under her table. Upon discovery, Miranda gave her an orange peel, said, "I believe this is yours," and fled before LLENN realised that she had in fact stolen and eaten all of LLENN's oranges.
Stanford's Lair, Looniversity Classroom
Sabre grunted as he slashed at the encroaching spikes. "Never thought this would be how I died," he said.
Tricky looked uncertainly at the door, not exactly eager to jump in the path of the spikes. However, Bismuth's suggestion made him perk up. "Worth a shot!" he said.
"Why would Evil Stanford even put in a secret exit?" asked Sabre. "It makes no sense."
"Nothing here makes sense," Tricky said. "Maybe it'll work in our favour this time."
With that, Tricky began poking around the floor, using his well-honed mushroom-digging skills to search for loose spots. Sabre focused on holding the spikes at bay with his sword, buying them as much time as he could.
Stanford's Lair, Tribute Quarters
Kaidan was too focused on not falling off Veena to do anything else during the flight. Once she landed, he staggered to his feet and winced at the sight of the Tatzlwurm.
"We could really use a Mako about now!" he said as he pulled out his pistol, firing off a couple shots.
Stanford's Lair, Jet Room
Shepard staggered as the room shook, and barely managed to grab one of the seats in time to avoid getting knocked flat. The cat rookie clung desperately to the control panel to keep her own footing.
"I'm going to have a word with this 'pilot'," said Shepard.
The Commander then raised an eyebrow at Wanda's comments.
"Right now, awkward reunions are the least of our concerns," Shepard said. "Everyone, watch your fire."
With that, Shepard lined up a concussive shot at the entrance, ready to fire at the first sign of hostiles. The cat rookie went back to fiddling with the controls while there was still some time to spare.

The Arena
That night, WALL-E approaches a dancing Waddle Dee, but no thanks to fem!Chameleon's hacking skills (probably), the robot can now detect its stench. WALL-E clacks his pincers and prepares to grab it for compaction, but he glitches out and turns away.
Meanwhile, Goyle casts Levicorpus on human!Edgar to dangle him off a bridge, but Edgar manages to punch him, making him reflexively throw him at Omi. Goyle then gets as far away from the Xiaolin warrior as possible, and the following day, the Slytherin finds a sledgehammer. He pockets his wand and carries the hammer with him to use as a substitute Beater bat.
As for WALL-E, he finds some Sunday clothes in a dirty pile of laundry and puts them on.
◊ He's about to check himself in the mirror when Melodie shows up and laughs at his new outfit.
"Now you DIE," she says before punching him, but due to her attacks being weakened as karma for whatever she did before coming here, she only makes a small dent on his framework and doesn't knock him over.
However, WALL-E still shivers and gets away from her as fast as he can.
The Science Center, Safety Shelter
"Heehee, yep!" 6k1 giggles at PV. "There's always a risk with nominating villains, but the Arena won't be the same without 'em!"
As she and Juan continue watching, Ally just recalls something from her Databanks.
6001, did you know that this is not the first time WALL-E, EVE, and the two Mr. Taytos appeared in the same season?
"Really?"
Affirmative, the previous time they did so was in Season 118.
"Oh, I remember now! EVE had to excuse herself from hanging out with Republic Tayto because she was busy frying her hand!"
"What?!" asks Juan. "I know things are much crazier in your Arena, but what kind of excuse was that?"
6k1 shrugs. "I'd say 'Arena influence' but I'd rather ask EVE after the season and when I have the time, for she was my tribute in S20's Robot Season."
"I see. I also don't immediately rule the more unusual tribute actions as 'A.I.' because there has to be some other reason why they did such things, right?"
"Right!"
But I AM an A.I. program downloaded into a chassis mimicking the likeness of Garnet, says Ally.
6k1 playfully rolls her eyes. "I guess we need a new term for those weird, unexplainable Arena things..."
"But a shame that they didn't directly interact this season 'cuz EVE died early, though..." Juan shakes his head.
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"

The Fourth-Placers' Revenge
The Arena, Season 318
On the third night, Miranda got into a heated argument with Megumin that could be heard across the Arena. However, before they could come to blows, they woke up a small but powerful "giant" who wasn't too pleased with the racket they were making. The "giant" promptly grabbed them and the nearby tributes, threw them into a hollow tree, and sealed them in.
"Looks like we'll have to work together to get out of here," said Miranda. She turned to Megumin and offered her hand. "I'm willing to put my differences aside, at least for the season."
Megumin agreed, and with a combination of magic, technical tricks, and biotics, they were able to free themselves. Thankfully, their dispute stayed resolved, if only because Megumin promptly overindulged in her favourite food and died the next day.
On the fourth day, Miranda decided to get herself some backup in the Arena, since she was more of a leader than a solo operative. She carefully acquired some DNA samples from Alma Coin and used them to start growing a clone, using tech similar to that of the Lazarus Project. She knew the clone wouldn't be a perfect recreation, but that didn't matter - all she needed was a loyal henchwoman, and the real Alma Coin was a bit too ambitious for that.
I like cute things. You gotta deal with it.

After Bale and everyone else had moved along, a tatzlwurm-like creature emerged from the ground.
Bale: Okay, that's a pretty off-script occurrence.
He got out a small ray gun and tried to fend off the creature with it.
Teleporter Room
The sudden tremors sent Kirby bouncing, but Rouki stood still more annoyed than anything. Then the pilot's voice came in threatening everyone and he felt vindicated for some more violence as the evil chuckle alone had interested him.
Rouki: Finally some more action!
He grabbed his blade, knowing something would come up for them to fight. He looked at the Gems and Kirby and was unimpressed and unempathetic about them falling down by the suddent event.
Rouki: Get up!
Looniversity Room
While they were fending off the books, they figured they could get away through the door they came in. Luckily, they had nothing more to fend off until the defeated books began to sprint back to life. And if it wasn't enough the walls themselves became hostile.
Pearl: Not again. And this just gets worse by the minute
Garnet: We're not making it out if we don't move. Let's go back to the entrance.
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."
"Guess a Leatherface costume is prolly off the table for ya, Pow-Pow. Anywho, good luck finishing the comic, Bez."
Braids From S286 Not Included
The Arena
That night, Goyle sneaks out at night and smirks to himself at how he easily broke out of prison the other night, much like during the mass breakout from Azkaban. He runs around the streets and manages to Accio 166 manhole covers to himself before the Aurors and the Peacekeepers arrest him again and send him back to jail.
Meanwhile, WALL-E comes across a Walmart and is reminded of BNL. He curiously wanders inside and checks the groceries, but suddenly, Gill-man ambushes him and chains him down along with Steve. Gill-man then shoots arrows at them, and WALL-E covers his eyes and hopes he doesn't get hit, and miraculously, Gill-man misses all his shots.
The next day, Goyle breaks out of prison again by casting Crucio on the guards and Apparating away from them. He then encounters a rampaging bottle monster and wonders if he ever studied this in Care for Magical Creatures. Just then, Dorugoramon and male!Chameleon swoop in and fight the monster, and Goyle helps them defeat it by casting Crucio on it and letting them finish it off.
Meanwhile, WALL-E is in Sleep Mode when fem!Chameleon suddenly dropkicks him. He lets out a scared beep as he gets startled awake and rolls down the hill. He gets a few more dents on his body, but he should still be able to move around.
The Science Center, Safety Shelter
"Huh, I didn't notice that," says Juan. "I was paying more attention to Chame gaining shapeshifting powers from that syringe."
Underground Bunker
Heart promptly checks Miranda and Star's pulses, and they slowly open their eyes and get up.
"Sorry about that, Ichigo," says Heart, "they're both squeamish about blood."
"Right..." says Miranda, "last time I fainted at the sight of that, it was because I saw Himiko extract blood for her shapeshifting!"
"Brr... at least Changelings are born with that ability!" says Star.
Bezier then puts away the mags. "Anyway Ich, I hope I'll be able to publish our comic someday. I just need to ask Vivi's family permission if I can expand on some of her ideas for it. And I'll credit her, don't worry."
"And I'll be the first one to read it!" says Power. "And I also have a gift for you, Bez!"
"What, really?"
"Yeah! I drew this up myself and was supposed to give it to you as a holiday gift, but consider this a belated birthday gift too!"
Dark Stanford's Lair
Outside
Peridot then inputs the commands into her Perizoid and orders it to enter the lair and find the team and help them fight whatever's attacking them.
"Go and get 'em!" she cheers for it.
Looniversity Classroom/Hallway
The flaming book explodes into ashes, and the spikes begin to retract as Bismuth and Sabre continue destroying them.
"Ya found somewhere else we can escape to?" Bismuth asks Tricky.
The triceratops would then find a trapdoor underneath some loose floorboards, which leads to a small supply room full of prank items.
Meanwhile, Steven and Connie jump over the spikes and run to the other rooms to warn the others, only to be suddenly yanked backwards past the Looni Room's entrance, out of anyone's earshot, by extremely strong magic. They try breaking out of it, but they continue being pulled back with much force.
"Hahaha... Did you kids really think you can escape my tricks and traps that easily?!"
Steven and Connie turn around and see Discord and the prisoners glaring at them with their static eyes. The draconequus laughs as he moves his hands up and down to move Steven and Connie's arms around like marionettes on invisible strings.
"Wh-What are you doing?!"
"Y-You must be the prisoners we were supposed to rescue... right?"
"That is correct," says Twilight as she steps forward, "but we are not going to surrender to you so easily. Now go back to where you just came from and bring the nightmare to me!"
Steven gulps. "N-N-Nightmare?"
"What do you mean?" asks Connie. "We already lost a few of our 'Brije friends when they turned into those monstrous creatures!"
"No, not them... CAC. I need to give him another lecture after he escaped that nightmare I saved Asriel Dreemurr from!"
Steven's spine tingles again at how viscerally Twilight said the nominator's name.
"Noooo... this must be a mistake..." He tries not to cry.
"He may not have directly caused that nightmare, but he's changed!" says Connie. "He wouldn't be fighting with us if he didn't let go of his dangerous mindset, would he?"
But Twilight continues glaring at them.
"You two are just wasting our time here. Discord, take them back inside and teleport the rest of us to those rooms up ahead!"
"As you wish, Princess!" he says coyly before teleporting Steven and Connie back into the Looni Room, making them fall just a hair's breadth near the spikes.
Hallway
Discord then summons two tiny clones of himself and tells them to help the prisoners cause more "mischief" in the Looni Room and the Corrupted Quarters.
"I'll just be at the Jet Room if you need me!"
The mini-Cords smirk and rub their paws and claws together as they teleport themselves to their assigned rooms, watching silently from one corner first as they think of how to change the battlefields next.
"Spike, Flash Magnus, you two are coming with me," says Twilight.
"Yes, Princess," they both say and nod.
"Discord, I'll go with you as your 'moral' support," says Fluttershy.
"Ooooh! Can I join you two?" asks Pinkie. "The party's just about to start and I wanna HELP!"
Discord chuckles. "Of course, you can! The more chaos, the better!"
They both share a laugh.
"So that just leaves me, AJ, and Rarity with the Tribute Quarters, right?"
"Ah reckon so."
"Alright."
"Perfect," says Discord. "And finally, you two want to reunite with your precious daughter, right?" he asks Les and Reba. "I can take you to her if you want!"
Naturally, they will be joining him in the Jet Room because Wanda is there.
"And now, on the count of three..."
And with a snap of his fingers, they're all teleported to their designated areas.
Looni Room
Twilight's group is teleported at the Looni Room entrance, and she storms in with a dour look on her face.
Bismuth gasps. "What?! Y-You must be..."
"Twilight Sparkle," she says. "And I am here for the nightmare nominator you and Steven have been trying to 'protect'."
Spike and Flash follow behind her, the former preparing to go toe-to-toe with Alex and the latter shielding the purple dragon.
"Oooh, this is gonna be GOOD!" says Mini-Cord 1 as he whips out some popcorn and eats it.
Jet Room
"I knew it," Garnet tells Wanda, "Quiet Robe warned us about these prisoners..." She then turns to Pearl and says, "you and Cat Rookie, guard the telepad while Amethyst and I head outside!"
"Okay!"
The Gem fusion then rushes to Amethyst, picks her back up, and they head for the entrance, only for Discord (in a pilot uniform), Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie to teleport into the room before they can go out. Garnet brakes in front of them and prepares her gauntlets while Amethyst crashes into Pinkie, making both of them go "Ow!"
"STOP THIS RIGHT NOW, OR ELSE WE WILL HAVE TO DO THIS THE HARD WAY!" Garnet shouts.
"Ahhh... I meant to do that!" Amethyst shrugs at the pink pony before stepping back. "But you three are all goin' dooooowwwnnn!" she adds as she cracks her whip at them.
The opposing trio all step backward, and Discord holds his claw and paw up at Shepard cocking their gun at him, but he puts them down and laughs at them.
"Attention, passengers, this is your captain speaking! We are now on our final approach to our destination... YOUR DEATHS!"
He telekinetically tears off some seats, turns them into mutant crows, and Fluttershy orders them to attack the team. Pinkie also whips out her party cannon and fires acid cupcakes at them, strong enough to burn through VL suits.
"EAT THIS!" she yells at AR Kirby.
Corrupted Quarters
The Sandzlworm makes an eldritch shriek each time it gets hit by the heroes' attacks, revealing its three tongues. It then retreats into the liquid floor, but not without morphing its head into that of Discord's and taunting them, "I wouldn't go that way if I were you!"
Lapis looks back at the worm as it completely sinks and the floor solidifies into rough mountain terrain, but she continues pressing on down the hallway. Suddenly, she gets tackled by Rainbow Dash and knocked near the others.
"Hey, watch where you're going!"
"Why should I do that when all of you are IN OUR WAY?!"
Applejack charges towards Freyja, turns around, and tries bucking her all the way back into the previous room, while Rarity goes on standby and waits for Mini-Cord 2, who's hiding in her mane, to conjure up something that can aid her in battle.

Head's up, mate!! (August exclaims, running up to try to slow them down with a Night Daze.)
You guys, somethin's wrong with 'em! (June says, picking up on the strange appearance of their eyes as she readies a Night Daze. Oscar quickly moves to protect Lucian.)
What does she want with CAC? (July asks.)
Jet Room
(Wanda's heart sinks when Les and Reba appear in the Jet Room with the same malicious-looking expressions that she always remembered them having as a child.)
(Cleo immediately realizes that they are not in their right states of mind upon seeing their eyes.) ...Something is wrong.
(But nobody really has time to dwell on this before they all go on the attack. Les copies Reba's (bigger and more durable) form and creates a barrier to surround Reba as she approaches the group to find Wanda, as well as surrounding a similar barrier around himself.)
Wanda deeeeeeear.... (Reba says in that tone Wanda had quickly grown to despise as a child.) Where are youuuuu?
(Getting back into character as Swimming Fish, Wanda defiantly aims her blaster at Reba.) She's not here! Stand down!
(Reba menacingly approaches "Swimming Fish" and headbutts him in the chest with enough force to send staggering backwards.) You know where she is! TELL ME!!
(Sidon decides to play along.) Princess Wanda is not HERE! Stand down! (He says, jabbing at the barrier that Les put up with Fleeting Leaf's spear to try to break through it.)
(Cleo looks toward Les and uses a psychic wave of energy in his direction to try to disrupt his concentration. It only staggers him for a moment and the barrier persists.)
I need assistance! (Cleo calls.)
I'd rather not because I think I would die! (Henry exclaims upon seeing what the cupcakes can do.)
Hen, let's get rid of these birds! (Tenn says, firing a Struggle Bug at some of the approaching crows.)
Excellent idea! (Henry says.)
I don't wish to hurt these Dreamers, but I'm worried we have no choice! (Zuma says.)
Ja... (Greta says. She has a miserable expression as she rolls up into a boulder toward Pinkie's cannon to try to destroy it.)

Wha-...? (Veena gasps upon seeing the Sandzlworm's face morph into Discord's.)
(Veena is trying to process what's going on when the floor solidifies again and the brainwashed ponies go on the attack. She attempts to approach Rarity so she can sweep her tail underneath Rarity and break her concentration.)

Before the Pokémons could follow Steven and Connie, the two of them got back into the Loony room much to the others's confusion. Right after, Twilight, Spike, and Flash appeared.
"Twilight!!" Aaron exclaimed, recognizing her. He lowered his ears upon seeing her face, as well as Spike and Flash approaching Alex.
"Twilight!! Stop this, that's us!! Dark Stanford is using you!!"
"I don't think they're listening, Aaron." Tokage said.
"Aw crap... I hate to do this, but you're not hurting my friends!!" Alex roared back at Spike before using Flamethrower alongside August's Night Daze.
"You're right June. And... damn it, he gave them bracers!" Aaron grunted, summoning his bone with Bone Rush.
"If only we had Squishy... That's how we were able to save Oscar from his bracer." Tokage said. With that said, he looked at the bracers from afar, studying them to see if they looked different from the ones he was used to.
Aaron turned toward Oscar and Lucian, the latter shaking.
"M... Maybe we can-" he asked Aaron.
"No! I know you are looney now, but I can't let you risk getting hurt. And if they get you, they'll deliver you to Dark Stanford. Stay back!!" Aaron firmly argued. He turned toward Tricky.
"Did you find something?? We can't let Oscar and Lucian like this!"
"Don't tell me he already experimented on them. Sick bastard." Arthur said to Garnet, frowning furiously.
Then, Discord, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie blocked the way alongside Wanda's parents.
"Oh my... Would that be Discord?" James said, unsure about fighting him.
"Looks like the guy. I wonder how we're supposed to fight someone like him..." Nick sighed.
"I know you two idiots are excited, but don't kill them." Arthur hissed at Amethyst, and especially Rouki.
Immediately, the brainwashed captives attacked.
"I don't think so, Discord!! Gentlemen!! Split up!! Do not let them get near the telepad!!" James said to his two teammates. The Inteleon then used Snipe Shots to take the crows down alongside Henry and Tenn. Arthur flew elsewhere, firing arrows to protect the group from Pinkie's acid cakes. As for Nick, he ran to Cleo's side, before using Pyro Ball at Les's direction.
Lapis being knocked near Veena caused Scipion and Onox to let go of Veena, but fortunately, the floor was solid by then.
"Urgh... Wait, three ponies? That's it?? Piece of cake." Scipion growled, grinning viciously.
"ONOX!!" he then barked. The Toxtricity roared and aimed for Rainbow Dash with a Thunder. Scipion himself fired a Dark Pulse at Rarity's direction. As for Freyja, the moment she got back on solid ground, she tried to reach for the exit, but Applejack pushed her back into the room with the others.
The Blaziken spit in defiance, and replied with a violent kick, aiming for Applejack's belly.

"Hmm..." says Dr. Phoenix, "we have not received an update yet on where the ZDR team will meet after the mission, but we shall keep you posted, Dr. Maheswaran."
"I see."
"But you are free to stay here and help the other patients in the meantime."
She nods at him. "Thank you, sir."
"So shall the rest of us be going, then?" asks Dr. Tennelli.
"Sí," says Julieta.
"Then bye everyone!" Ralsei waves to the others as he and the other moms go down to the Station. "Hope we can meet again when things are much better!"
Safety Shelter

"Wait, what?" asks Juan when PV promptly shows up with her gift for him. He unwraps it and smiles a little.
"Thanks, I guess... but I think Bezier would enjoy these more."
Meanwhile, Ally tells 6k1 about the real Nimona and Ballister, having synced the data with the VR system.
Neither of them fainted or died from their session because of their physical resilience. And as I predicted, Nimona enjoyed her time in the Arena.
"That's good to hear!"
And since St. Patrick's Day had also passed, do you still wish to continue your tradition of nominating green tributes for it?
"Of course, better late than never!"
And who will they be?
"Crabbe and Goyle. I know the former can't use VR because he died in the 2nd Wizarding War, while I'm not sure about the latter."
And what is the reason for that?
"I don't know where he is after the war, or if he survived it, so I'll just data clone him as well."
