Anyone else watching this? The second season just started on Hulu and it's pretty amazing.
For those who don't watch, Castle Rock is an anthology show set in Stephen King's most famous town in Maine and it stars some of the characters he created. Not the exact same characters, but similar enough. And there are tons of references to King's books and stories, as well as actors who have appeared in King's movies before. (Sissy Spacek had a great role in the first season that was heartbreaking.)
The second season involves Annie Wilkes (Lizzy Caplan) and her daughter, Joy, who get into a car accident and end up in Jerusalem's Lot, which is next to Castle Rock in Castle County. And I have to say that Lizzy Caplan is killing it. Her Annie is amazing — she has the voice, the mannerisms, even the walk down pat. And she always looks a little unhinged. The opening sequence to the premiere is amazing.
