I think that "The Sound of Her Wings" is honestly one of the best episodes of television I've ever seen, how is it even possible that Netflix hasn't renewed this show yet?

Are you kidding? Matt Berry as Destruction is unironically amazing. If BRIAN BLESSED is too old for the part, Berry is a perfect second.
Matt Berry needs to be kept for the Tom Bombadil shoehorn in current and future Lord of the Rings projects.

The scene is an extension of Dream questioning humanity's attitude towards Death's gift. Death mentions taking one day every hundred years to be human to see how she'd like it, after a dying girl once said that very phrase to her.

Gaiman tweets that the upcoming Dead Boy Detectives show is a Sandman TV spinoff after all.
It will make their origin a lot cleaner at least (and we will definitely get the Season of Mists boarding school issue in some form). I vaguely remember it being announced as a Doom Patrol spinoff, so I wonder if it only happened because the show got moved to Netflix.

Without going too deeply into spoilers - the enmity between Dream and Desire is eons old, and is due to a whimsical decision by Desire that hurt and deeply offended Dream...I think an earlier post may have already cited what happened. Fables and Reflections has one story that specifically establishes Desire getting the idea to have Dream spill family blood, and it's one that I hope they adapt.
