Him or Zodd would make the perfect Bonus Boss.
I am amused even The Onion has an opinion

It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesAn interview with George R.R. Martin about Elden Ring.
"My work on it was actually done years ago. These games, they're like movies, they take a long time to develop." "Basically they wanted a world created to set the game in, they wanted worldbuilding." "[I] worked up a fairly detailed background" for FromSoftware, at which point the developer "took it from there."

This, but unironically.
i. hear. a. sound.Bad news first: game has been delayed to February 25th.
Good news is you can register here for a chance to participate in a closed beta test that starts November 12.
I mean, it’s still a few months away and unlike 2020, it’s not like we’re hurting for new shit to come out.
It's been 3000 years…Also, leaked gameplay was circling twitter the other day.
The server test also inst available on PC, only consoles
Ah, some people were worried about data-mining. Though I imagine that's why there's no PC thing for the network test.
They released a gameplay preview today:
Looks very good. I enjoyed all the different spells and stuff too, like being able to change your arm into a dragon head.
Real quick, does it look like we're getting an Estus Flask equivalent? That is, a healing item that refills at every bonfire, thus meaning you don't need to grind for healing items like you did in Blooborne and Demon's Souls.
A lot of the animations are straight from previous Dark Souls entries, including an Estus Flash drinking animation that gets shown off in the video, so I'd guess, "Yes."
From Software has a few constants in their games and they often make use of recycled animations.
Not that that makes the games bad but they do cut corners where they can for more minor things.
Man that map looks pretty
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."It really does. I audibly went "Whooooa..." when I saw it XD
At this point they're recycling decade old animations and sound effects. It's a little silly admittedly, but aside from that the game looks awesome. Magic looks like it's gonna be the best yet.
I mean, unless the animation is bad or being used in wrong contexts, who cares if it's reused?
I remember a few months ago some people were complaining that God of War Ragnarok was reusing an animation of Kratos pushing a canoe into the water and jumping in.
If it's some lazy canned animation shit, fine. But if nothing is wrong with it, why not reuse it?
Definitely. It also helps to lessen the strain on developers. Why would they make entirely new animations when old ones are perfectly fine?
I'm just blown away by how good this looks, both visually and in terms of gameplay - spells and the bow look much more reactive now, and magic acid rain and a giant laser?!
It's been fun.To be fair, the Giant Laser was in Dark Souls 3.
It looks like its far better and more useful here, though.
Watch SymphogearI wouldn’t assume that magic is any stronger than it was previously. After all, the UI was disabled for the demo so we don’t have any idea the damage it did, and we didn’t see anything die from magic.
@fillerdude: Martin's contribution is the worlds backstory, not the main story.
Here's me hoping for a Cameo of the Black Swordsman Guts himself as a Super Secret Bonus Boss, if Young Animal comics allows it. To honor Kentaro Miura's memory and influence on Souls likes as a whole. Make him tougher then all the previous bonus bosses and True Final Bosses combined.
Oh, and have a recomposed version of My Brother for the fight, and a more somber version of Guts theme for when you win or are close to winning.
