Should we rename the Raised Catholic trope to Raised Religious, since, as the trope description itself mentions, this phenomenon does occur in every religion (that is, it is not exclusive to Catholics) but for some reason seems to be used as a trope only for Catholics (or at the very least every single example is specifically about Catholics as per the name)?

Opening, but perhaps it'd be helpful to see evidence that the narrow name is creating problems.

It's less that it's creating problems and more that the description admits this isn't only seen among Catholics, which gives (me at least) the impression that the name is more specific than the description.

The narrow name is also probably the reason why the examples are almost all about Catholicism, as mentioned. If expanding the name/examples would turn it into People Sit on Chairs, I'll concede the point.

Agreed I'd want to see evidence of confusion before making a big change.

Maybe a bigger issue is that the trope doesn't specify clearly in what way it's supposed to be significant that a character was Raised Catholic. Thus quite a few of the examples are "In Show, X was raised Catholic as a child but doesn't go to Mass anymore." OK, and? Does this affect the character or the story at all? In what ways? And (crucially) are those ways that could be shared with different religions?

Otherwise, just cut Paragraph 4 out of the description, since that's the only one that mentions non-Catholic religions.
