All-Purpose Warrior Cats Fanfic Thread

Warrior Cats has a lot of fics, so why not start a thread just in case?

Warriors Redux is a nice, adult-aimed revamping of the series. It's a lot like Watership Down or Tailchaser's Song.

I personally didn't care for Redux due to the fact that IMO it's got just as many problems with sexism as the original series did (in fact, probably more so), and it feels too similar to Tailchaser's Song. I read xenofiction precisely because I like seeing animals being anthropomorphized, not treated like more intelligent versions of how they already act.

That said, I may have subconsciously attributed some of their Spottedleaf's traits into how I portray her- though this is more because I always saw her as a bit Lovegood-esque anyway.

Personally, I really like the Brother!Tiger AU- not sure if you've heard of it as I don't believe it has an actual fic so much as just fan-art and conceptualizing, but the basic idea is that it's an AU where Firestar and Tigerstar are half-siblings. You can find some content for it here.

Posting here again to share one of my favorite one-shots: a crossover with Animorphs that gives Snowkit a much happier ending! It's short, but it's pretty good.

I've seen a lot of good evil!Spottedleaf AU MAPs but haven't been able to find a decent fanfic for it, sadly. It's a shame since that's a fascinating AU. I guess most people prefer either rehauling the series completely or just using OCs.

Personally, I dislike A Us that exist solely to alter a character's canon personality, and Canon!Spottedleaf is a huge comfort character to me (I love her precisely because of her kind and gentle personality), so I'm not particularly a fan. However, I can still see where the appeal comes from.

Just out of curiosity, do you know of any Blackstar-centric fics? He was one of my favorite leaders and I wish we'd seen more of him.
