Blackened Moon, magical girl time hopping adventure, discussion thread.

My brain churned out a more sci-fi-ish character that could make use of the near future setting of this RP, and now I'm kinda stuck at which one I wanna use. Curses.

Well that's up to you, though I'm only planning on letting each person have one character at a time. (Not counting familiars and sentient artifacts and summons.)

Will the game thread be posted in both the discussion thread and sign up thread?

@Atlas Stratus: The only thing I would say would have to change for that sheet is the spell specialization. Since a familiar class girl can take familiar buffs/transformations regardless of specialization, Theta Algorithm, Sigma Algorithm, and Omega Algorithm don't have to match the listed specialization; only her personal spells do. Neither Repulse Barrage nor Hard Reset really fit into a "air supremacy" specialization, but rather something like a "ranged" or "barrage attacks" specialization instead. With that I would be fine accepting the sheet.

@Lovely Magician Savvy: Yes, and I'll edit links at the top of both threads like how they are now; all three threads will mutually link to the other two, just for easier navigation.

Speaking of, it shouldn't be long until I have it up hopefully; I basically finished most of the first post last night, and there's just a few additions and changes I want to make before putting it up.

Did that specialization change. I just might stick with Camille since I much prefer the sci-fi aesthetic.

@Atlas Stratus: It's fine with me whichever character you pick, though if you're going with Camille are you going to post it in the signup thread or replace Eperu's sheet with it?

Eperu's sheet is replaced. Mecha musume wins me over again.

Alright, I've sorted that out in the character listing then; you're clear to come in with Camille. Anyway, I am gonna go ahead and get going for tonight, and let more people have time to make their initial intro before I see about doing more posting. I'm sleeping in with no alarm tomorrow, but I should be on a lot earlier than today since I have the day off; it's just hard to say when that will probably be.

Here now, gonna see about making a new post relatively soon, and I think I'll also be taking a stab at making that discord server today; invites will go out via PM to those who have actually posted so far.

EDIT: Well, I better get going for tonight. Tomorrow I won't be on until after work, relatively late. If I get off when I'm scheduled to, it'll probably be around three hours later than when I got on tonight; but I don't expect to be getting off when I'm actually scheduled to, probably more like 20-30 minutes later or more.

Alright, I'm here and recapped. Was at work later, as I expected. Around 30-40 minutes later; I forgot to look at the exact time I left. I also had some extra stuff to do after I got home.

General announcement: Because of expenses with the new car, I do have to start working a bit more than I did before; I don't think it should have a huge impact on my posting, aside from any times work schedules me a late shift and then an early shift the next day back to back, which of course I will continue to do my best to let you all know ahead of time when those are coming. If however it does start being harsher on my free time and/or energy than I'm expecting, well, my posting may slow a bit. I doubt it will ever get worse than one post every other day, though.

Also, turns out tonight is gonna be an early call in night for me. Dad wants me to help him out with stuff before work tomorrow.

I will work on having a post up for here after I check on discord; I'm only planning on the one post since I don't have a lot of time tonight. Granted it was probably only going to be one post tonight anyway, but still.

Sorry for the delay on posting! Been in a weird headspace last couple days.

That's alright. Anyway, I better get going. Tomorrow's shift is scheduled an hour later than tonight's was, and I expect once again that I probably will have to stay later than that still. Even if I get off when scheduled I'll probably only be getting on about the same time I did tonight.

Alright, as I expected I had to stay at work a little extra, but only about twenty minutes extra. I am feeling kind of exhausted after my long day; good news though is that I got my thing before work that I was going to do Friday, so I should have the time to hop on briefly then after all. I'm gonna check up on discord and see about working on a post(s), but it may still be a bit as I am fairly sore.

EDIT: And now I'll be going for tonight. Tomorrow and all the shifts for the rest of the week are scheduled to end even later than tonight's was. It's supposed to end an hour later than tonight's was, so, if I get off when scheduled I'll probably be getting on around 40 minutes later than tonight.

Here and fully recapped; I actually got off work early tonight. Yeah, I'm surprised too. However I realized that there was something I could stand to get at the grocery store so I took the extra time to make a quick swing by there. I'm gonna check up on discord and see about working on posting soon, though I am a bit distracted with laundry going.

Also, as of my latest post, combat posting rules are now in effect.

EDIT: Ugh, life is being exhausting. Well, I better get going. Tomorrow's shift is the same schedule as today's was; I know I won't go to the grocery store after tomorrow though, so if I get off when I'm scheduled to I'll probably be getting on around the same time.

Phone post, wingedcatgirl and R Alexa, your characters don't automatically know their spells at this current point. Def Revenge's way of incidentally casting a spell is better, and Scorp's character has the sentient artifact to help her out. Yours should have some element of having to figure out their spells on the fly.

Phew, got off work as scheduled to tonight. I am here and fully recapped; I just wanna check up on discord and see if any of my friends are on tonight, then I'll work on a post.

Or rather, here I will be waiting about 90 more minutes just for the fairness of the combat posting rule. Though I'll probably start working on it before then.

EDIT: Up a bit later than I meant to hanging out with one of my friends, so I best get going for tonight. Tomorrow I will technically be able to hop on before work, but since that would be way before the 24 hour mark and I wouldn't have the time to make a battle post even if you had all posted by then, I'm not planning on posting for here until after work. As for after work, I'm scheduled off the same time I was tonight, so I'll probably be getting on around the same time again.

Okay, I am here and fully recapped. I was a little late clocking out of work, but I stuck around a few minutes more to copy down my schedule for this coming week:

As a reminder, I have an extra long evening shift tomorrow, then Sunday off. Unfortunately for me, next week is again another over-scheduled week for me; in fact it's almost exactly the same as this last week, but with one major, annoying difference. Monday's a moderate evening shift. Tuesday is a long evening shift. Wednesday is an extra long evening shift. Thursday is an extra long early shift. Next Friday is a long evening shift. Next Saturday is another extra long evening shift.

Just like this week, I will hopefully have time to hop on briefly before work on Friday. Because of Thursday's early shift though, I won't be able to post Wednesday at all.

Now... There are less posts than I was expecting, so I dunno, I might just go ahead and not post tonight, to give the people who haven't posted yet this round another day for it. In that case I would post here first thing tomorrow night after getting home from work.

EDIT: Alright, the combat will just be done with for now. A short taste for the first battle, a bit of a warmup if you will; future battles probably won't be quite so quick. Anyway, I better get going for tonight. Tomorrow's shift is scheduled to end the same time tonight's was, plus I'm planning on swinging by the grocery store after work so I'll probably be even later getting on.

Alright, I am here and recapped with a quick schedule update. Someone like, had to suddenly take next week off or they quit or something, I'm not sure; point is the schedule for everyone changed, though for me it only meant one actual change. Next Saturday's evening shift is going to be even longer by way of starting earlier than normal; this will mean that I'll have to go to bed earlier than I usually would Friday night, and also that after work Friday I will not be on for a whole lot of time.

Anyway, I'm gonna check on discord and see about possible posting, though that may not be right away.

EDIT: Well I think I'll get going for tonight now. I'm sleeping in with no alarm set tomorrow, so I'm not sure when I'll be on; it should of course be much earlier than I was on today though.

Well, on later than I thought I would be; I woke up over a couple hours ago, but realized that with my work schedule today was going to be the only good day lately to get a haircut and finish my taxes, so I went ahead and did that. Anyway, I'm fully recapped, and I'm gonna check on discord before I think about what I may post.

Tomorrow I won't be on until after work; it's the shortest of the evening shifts by schedule, but of course as usual I expect I'll actually have to be there late. If somehow I don't have to stay late though, I'll probably be getting online around two hours later than I did tonight.
