It is the year 0079 of the Universal Century. Mankind, united under the Earth Federation, has spread throughout the Inner Solar System. First, man colonized the moon. Then, he built the great orbital habitat clusters known as \"Sides\". And as he ventured further into space, he colonized and terraformed Earth\'s neighboring planets of Venus and Mars. He developed the technological wonders known as E-Frames and Mobile Suits, and even created a new sentient race - the Neo Sapiens. It seemed as if mankind was on the brink of a golden age.
Tragically, it was not to be.
The first act to shatter this illusion was the colony cluster on the far side of the moon - Side 3 - declaring itself the Principality of Zeon, and launching the nightmarish colony drop known as Operation British. The Zeon forces, loyal to Sovereign Degwin Zabi and his family, caused untold damage across the Earth Sphere in the name of independence.
The second, was when Phaeton - Governor of Mars and a former leader of the old Neo Sapien rebellion - launched a blitzkrieg against the Federation with his Second Neo Sapien Rebellion with but a single goal - domination of the Inner Solar System.
Now, locked in a horrific Melee A Trois, the Earth Federation, Principality of Zeon, and Neo-Sapiens struggle for control. All three sides have grown desperate and exhausted. And for whoever wins, victory will taste as bitter as defeat...
Alright, this is my first RP here on TV Trops, based off an idea that\'s been brewing in my head for a while - namely, the combination of two World War II-esque mecha shows, one eastern, one western. The RP is set in November of UC 0079. As for which factions control which territory....
The Earth Federation controls South America, Alaska, Sub-Saharan Africa, Australia, all of the Colony Clusters except for Side 6 (neutral) and Side 3 (Zeon), and about half of Venus.
The Principality of Zeon controls Side 3, the East Coast of North America, Northern Africa, Europe, East Asia, and quite a bit of territory on Mars.
The Neo Sapien Empire controls most of Mars, Central North America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
The Lunar Colonies and Side 6 are Neutral.
Any place on Earth, Mars, or Venus that wasn\'t mentioned is currently in the middle of a giant three-way slug-fest for control (examples: the half of Venus that the Federation doesn\'t control, most of North America, India, etc.)
Also, while most Neo Sapiens are with Phaeton, some have remained loyal to the Earth Federation. Thus, Federation characters can be either Humans or Neo Sapiens, while Neo Sapien Empire characters have to be Neo Sapiens, and Zeon characters have to be Human.
So, for making your character, use the following template:
