Girls' Frontline

The game is now out in english. Has anyone else play it? It's sort like Kantai Collection but with guns.

Also, an anime trailer is in the works.

I've been playing on the Chinese server for about a year now. The game does feel like a Kancolle derivative, at least in the unit management aspect. Like, there are four resources that are used to craft and maintain units, big emphasis on collection, importance to assemble the optimal squad to tackle a specific map, etc. The things that set it apart from Kancolle and other similar games are its combat system and surprisingly engaging story.

I've started a new account on the EN server, mainly so that I can read story texts without google translate. If anyone wants to add me in their friend list, my UID is 12000.

It's been a long time. Here's some good news. An official manga anthology of Girls Frontline will be out on November 27.

Also, there's gonna be a Blazblue x Guilty Gear crossover with Girls Frontline where Elephet and Noel can be recruited on November 20th.

My God, Elephet was a nightmare to beat. At least i manage to defeat her with a S rank.

I stacked as many rifles as I could into an echelon with tanks up front, and they were really useful at deleting most of her health right at the start so that it didn't take too long to win.

Still couldn't crack anything better than A rank, though.

^You better do a HG RF team with 2 Sniper Rifles and 3 Hand Guns. The Hand Guns giving ROF and Damage buffs to the Sniper Rifles while the Rifles themselves have skills that increases their ROF like SVD, Lee Enfield and WA 2000. When you finally face Elphelt, immediately move your T-Dolls in a X position. By doing so, not only will you quickly begin shooting on Elphelt, only one T-Doll will receive the brunt of Elphelt's Special attack and have that targeted T-Doll retreat so it will receive no damage. If you level your T-Dolls skills, Dummy Links and give them high level equipment, you will be able to defeat Elphelt quickly before she has a chance to use her Special Attack.

Right now the game is having a public vote over which rare T-Dolls will appear as special map drops. I voted for Kar 98, Negev and Suomi since I have yet to get these three T-Dolls while all the others being nominated I already have.

Great news for GFL fans. There's a secret code you can enter in the english version of the game to unlock the uncensored artwork of the T-Dolls since the artwork was originally censored in the english version.

All you have to do is enter the following recipe in the T-Doll Production Factory: Manpower 522 / Ammo 320 / Ration 404 / Parts 137.

After entering the recipe and starting the production, close the GFL app and start the game again. You will be then be ask to download some additional files. Click confirm. Once the download is done, congratulations, you have unlock the uncensored artwork.

It should be noted that once you apply this update, the new artwork will stay and if you still want the original censored artwork back(like me since i like the censored artwork than uncensored artwork for some characters like 9A-91) you will have to reinstall the game.

So the 4th manga chapter of Girls' Frontline was recently released and it finally introduced the Commander. And fans love her since she's sometimes act lazy but can get serious when she takes command.

I never played the game (and not really intending to) but I read about over a thousand pieces of fan art and fan comic on this series.

I notice that when checking all character pages, someone wants to associated the Honkai Gakuen collab units with HI 3, which is technically odd, since Honkai Gakuen / GGZ exists before HI 3 and this would cause a misconception

The Vallhalla crossover will start on 6th August.
