I could be wrong, but I think his comment at the very end of the short where he’s playing in the sink is a Shout-Out to the Tiny Toon Adventures episode where baby Plucky is putting things down the toilet and saying “X go down the hooole!”
Also, his noting how many eyes he has is a lampshade of Extra Eyes.
