Very loosely.
This week, we take a step back from the war, as Nezumi-Otoko tries yet another get rich quick scheme and we meet yokai who remember the Good Old Ways.
Mana is really abusing that Oblivious to Love trope.
This weeks episode was pretty good with some nice twist even if one of them was obvious
DRAGON DRAGONAnd we are back to the main war plotline. Nezumi-Otoko is useful, even though as usual he caused part of the problem.
Another good episode next week seems to be the finale of this arc
also Nanashi returns lets see how will this turn out

DRAGON DRAGONThis episode was intense
DRAGON DRAGONI'm going to guess that either Nezumi-Otoko saved Mana off camera (and possibly by accident) or Nanashi saved her as part of his long-term plan. (and we again have Mana as a probability bender.)
It's been a while—this version of the Sara-Kozo story is very different from the version I previously read. especially the downer ending.
This week: a "Scooby-Doo" Hoax ... or is it?
This week, note the subtle (by kiddie show standards ) clues there are actually two monsters!
Neko Mesume is dead. I can't believe they had the guts to kill her. Sure, they are most likely going to bring her back to life but still...
It definitely raises the stakes and tells us we're past the light-hearted tales for now.
Manga Ubume was more of a petty jerk, not just stealing babies, but inducing bedwetting in people as a hobby.
Holy mackerel. And it looks like Medama-Oyaji is gone too.
Into the new season several episodes, and we see that Kitaro has not always avoided killing bystanders.
Nickle Kana is into lyric poets: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainer_Maria_Rilke
Wow it's been a while since anyone posted.
Episode 72: Magically induced love antics! Mana confirmed for preferring girls.
Loosely, yes.
