I just added two examples to Clock Discrepancy, but I was thinking of some related ones. One I added there was, I watched the time.gov website on New Year's Eve, and the Times Square Ball dropped twenty seconds late!

When the hosts of Live with Kelly and Ryan go on vacation, they tape the first 15-20 seconds of the program separately, then show reruns of interviews of celebrities done on different days. But Kelly never acknowledges this. She always states the date the program is intended to be broadcast. She never says, "We're taping this on December 15, but it'll be shown on January 2nd."

News programs often show something happening live, on location, with the word "LIVE" in the upper right corner. But when later broadcasts repeat the segment, they don't remove the word "LIVE," which may confuse some viewers.

Late night talk shows are taped about 5 p.m. but they rarely acknowledge that.

They rarely acknowledge the tape-delay used in case of swearing.

Are these examples worth listing as tropes?

It looks like you need to use Trope Finder to help answer these sorts of questions. Please don't flood the forums with topics.
