The old anime thread(Pre 2010)

Hi everyone, you will thinking "Why is this thread?" well you see, Im 25 years old and like many on my age I get some nostalgia about some series and I want to talk about them here...but because they are so old, it get really difficult after all.

So I decide to create this thread, there is only two rules:

1) I have to be before the 2010, I decide to use that date because we are only two years ahead for ending this decade so I though why not. 2) If the series is still active or have a reboot them is out. After all most of the time the older instalation get talk in their respective threads.

So let start with two series I just end sawing a few ago: Yu yu hakusho and medabots.

After bing watching yu yu hakusho I have to admit that unlike other series this kinda have age well actually, the fight hit that mid spot between being methodical without slogging the pace(unlike Naruto) and dynamic without going overboard(like dragon ball) and while the story is really weak(in fact for all the drama of yuske going back to life and being a detective, the series is really a series of tournament arc join by plot, even when there isnt any tournament the narrative still treat as such: the four beast arc and Senzui arc) the cast really drive to life in many ways.

And them Medabots, so far I only with the first season but I have to said the series feel kinda american than anime: it blend humor, it have action and it kinda got serious at the end with the ancient medalorian civilization and stuff, on the other hand season 2 feel very weaker by cutting so much of the cast and killbot conflict dosent feel that much important.

My next old anime is going to be monster rancher and MAYBE Shinzo...if I can find the damn show in Spanish of course.

So, what old anime are you watching right now?

Anime is perhaps the only fandom in which something dating from 2010 is "old," isn't it?

In any case, there's already a classic anime thread, though that one generally encompasses stuff that's no less than 25 or so years old.

Ufffff that is ancient, anime move so far this days...or maybe it was always like that.

It was difficult to encompass a date, I was between 2010 and 2005 but I feel 2010 was better because a this point another generation of anime viewers is rising.
