Anakin Skywalker trope?

The fact that Darth Vader Clone is so popular makes me wonder if Anakin himself could be a trope as well - a young, skilled, but reckless and hotheaded member of an order of warriors who is overlooked in spite of his talents, and a villain seizes this to give them the recognition they were denied and uses this to pull the warrior to evil and convince him to turn on his order and join him.

Is this a wide-spread enough archetype to be tropable? I can think of two examples from video games but want other opinions before taking it to the launch pad.

There are two general rules when making trope names derived from specific character names:

  1. Don't.
  2. When in doubt, see 1.

I believe we have a trope already for a stock expy; this would be a specific example of that, not a trope all by itself.

Anyway, the character archetype of the reckless protege who's supposed to be chosen for some sort of fate but turns to evil and has to be destroyed or redeemed existed long before Star Wars.

Check Faceā€“Heel Turn and Protagonist Journey to Villain for where to start with that.
