The furthest I can track it back is to the defunct website mac.blorge.com in a 2007 article. Even that article calls it 'a recent image', suggesting they found it rather than took it themselves.

The current doesn't specify where it's from in the image, the caption, or the potholes thereof. We should probably find out just to be sure we're allowed using it.
