Eh, it's not like any of the Xenoblades have had well designed final bosses. I'll swap out Roc for Wulfric or something.

What would be a better listing for this that's not YMMV?, I want to add it to Adenine's listing in the Character Page:

@justinkal: Logos, Pneuma and Ontos were all A.I.s overseeing the Conduit experiment before Klaus changed their roles, so that fits what Alvis told Shulk in XB 1. Klaus also says that Ontos "initiated a time and space transfer". Additionally we don't know when Meyneth and Zanza emerged as the Bionis and Mechonis so there could have been a delay, and also we don't know how the flow of time relates between the universes.

This isn't to say that bit about Ontos can't be a sequel hook, I'd love to see another game expand on the growing connections between all three Xenoblade games, but right now the signs do point to Alvis being Ontos.

The only reason I won't immediately say the Conduit is Zohar is trademarking. Suspiciously Similar Substitute though? Totally.

Well, now that I actually remember that this thread exists and don't have a reason to avoid it any more, I'll respond to the people above by saying that literally the only problem I had with the final boss was that a Blowdown attack knocked me into a bottomless pit (by tossing me over the railing), causing an instant game over. A Blowdown attack used by one of the adds that gets summoned.

Second time around, I could have just killed the boss with a 2 orb chain attack, but instead I went for style points and got 5 orbs up so that I could make Pneuma trigger a Full Burst.

Haven't yet found a way to make someone besides my third party slot trigger the Full Burst when there's only 4 orbs.
