Not opening, mainly because we have better things to do and because "the colonial period" appears to be used mainly for US history.

In my opinion the name seems too generalizing to non-Americans whose countries have their own colonial periods, and to some Americans whose states like Louisiana and California have their own colonial periods from France and Spain respectively. As this page is all about the Thirteen Colonies of what will be the United States, suffice to say, it needs a more specific name.
