Well the problem is that Cat/Dog Dichotomy and Heroic Canines, Villainous Felines are virtually identical, in examples at least. Of course the description of the first one is so vague that is hard to tell if that was the intended idea behind the trope or if the difference was that one show the dichotomy as not necesary one species good and the other evil, just enemies and the other does it. In any case, the examples in both are more or less the same.

Edit: Just for the record: If Cat/Dog Dichotomy is indeed about animosity without moral conception it cenrtailny doesn't show it anywhere, nor in the examples nor in the description, thus it still requires at the very least a clean-up

Be sure to check both tropes more thoroughly. The former is a Super-Trope that depicts a cat and a dog as foils. The latter is a morality-based subtrope.
