BBC Breaking News Report

"We continue coverage on the UFO hovering over the British midlands which appeared early today, having arrived seemingly from nowhere and simply staying in place just outside of the planet's atmosphere this mysterious craft has sent the world into confusion. No country has yet to claim credit for the odd craft, and already an emergency meeting of the U.N. is being brought together to... wait breaking news from our on site camera crew, now sending you over."

"Thank you, now if you look at the footage being provided now you will see the UFO, large and circular like something out of an old serial piece, its bottom has opened within the past few moments, the first change that has been seen in...wait what is...something is falling out. Its huge we need to ge..."

"Amanda...Amanda are you... listeners we will return in just a mome-"

British Midlands

It had only been a handful of hours since the massive craft had appeared above the Earth's atmosphere but large enough to be seen by the naked eye. By all accounts the ship itself was a dull grey design, with circular outcroppings on both the bottom and top of the ship. But with one move it had changed, with the circular growth at the bottom of the ship opening and dropping forth a coffin shaped object that stood on par with some of the most massive structures that humankind had ever created. Just like the ship its coloring was a simple grey metallic shade, with the only identifying mark being a massive M covered by a circle.

Steam exploded off the sides of the coffin, the 'lid' falling forward as a massive arm exploded forth from within, grasping the edge of the structure, with another joining it on the opposite side. And then something emerged from within the darkness of the coffin.

The creature was almost a parody of a human, massive and fleshy with muscles rippling along every inch of its body. Its head seemed to be at odds with the body it was placed on, seemingly too small, with eyes that were too wide and a mouth that was covered by thick strands of flesh that crisscrossed over it. Its hair was down to its all to broad shoulders, falling all around and even over the creatures face as the wind blew against it. When the beast finally pulled itself from the coffin it stumbled, falling over and landing hard on the ground, sending ripping shock waves throughout the area that could be felt for miles away. Despite its stumble the creature managed to push itself up, turning its head to and fro as if in search for something. And then, it spoke.

"Mor...Mor...Mor..." the voice was shrill coming out of it, almost like a child's pleading tone. When nothing responded to its call the creature began to wildly stamp its foot. "Mor! Mor! Mor!" arms exploded out of the creature back, some longer than the creature's body itself, digging into the earth bellow and ripping out chunks like a child picking up bits of mud to throw, chucking them for miles while continuing its screaming chant. "Mor!"

Miles Away

Far away from any hint of civilization a castle appeared, golden and beautiful surrounded by a wall of silver, a beautiful sight that seemed to make the world around it more radiant. Within the castle a sword sprung forth from a intricately designed throne, glowing pure white.

Out from the castle shot six rays of light, flying high above the castle before splitting themselves into different directions. Each had a mission, a purpose to find those who would be worthy of holding the power of the most powerful tools ever crafted, the final protection of Avalon forged by the Lady of the Lake and perfected by the Wizard Merlin. Each weapon was held the soul of a long dead warrior, freed from mortality but denying their rightful Avalon to protect a world they had given their lives for.

When each appeared before its chosen wielder they glowed with a soft light, but created a barrier to render them unable to be harmed. Each would speak in the voice of a long ago ancestor, one of the Knight's of the Roundtable who defended the England once before against all invaders and evil. Each invited their chosen to reach forward and grasp them, to claim their birthright, and once down bring them to the throne room containing the sword.

Once each of them had appeared, a soft and almost fatherly chuckle would come from the throne, or more specifically the sword within the throne. "I am sure each of you has questions, but now is not the time to ask them. A grave threat has come, and now is the time for action, not words. Will you serve your world, fight against that which seeks to destroy all you are? If so, kneel and be knighted amongst the new Roundtable, and serve as those of your blood did once before."

Players first posts should contain at bare minimum some description of their meeting with the weapon, contain some bit of what they were doing before said weapon appeared, and then end with them accepted the weapon and appearing in Camelot itself

County of Devon

"I said no!" Fancy tables in houses of earls and viscounts were not supposed to be slammed with a fist. As it turned out however, Viscount Colton Gatwick was not in the mood for following what little etiquette he usually followed.

His loving aunt, honourable Geraldine Montogomery-Gatwick (real name: Gerta Monty-Gatwick), could only purse her lips in disapproval of the young viscount's reckless behaviour. "Young Colton Gatwick. Refrain from damaging the antiques after your late Father." All the young viscount had for her was a spiteful gaze that could burn through metal. "The decision me and my dear husband" Here she gestured to a small man standing nearby, shuffling his feet nervously. "was made with love and understanding of your difficult situation."

"Sod your "love and understanding"." Colton sneered back after he finally swallowed enough bile for his overbearing autn to speak. "This deal won't fly! Just because I don't want this whole countship, it doesn't mean my sister cannot take it instead!" The ever-understanding Geraldine Montogmery-Gatwick offered him a patronizing look that was meant to be understanding, probably.

"Your sister will not lose her ownership to the fortune of your late father. Why would she? We will take her under her wing, so she can have some place to stay while you pitter about and waste your life away, young Colton Gatwick."]]

"She has enough wits to handle it. Hell, she's got more wits than everybody in this room combined." Then he shot his aunt a dirty glare. "And you would make her a personal servant while you waste away dad's fortune."

"Well, I never!" Colton's dear aunt gasped in mock-offense. "Harold, did you hear him? He has the gall to imply that I, Geraldine Montgomery-Gatwick, would do such a horrible thing to my niece!"

"T-to be fair, sugar plum, um..." Harold Gatwick, late Earl Gatwick's less successful brother, tried to come up with a gormless, spineless counterattack. "You don't have to... u-use that name in priva-"

"Harold Gatwick, you will address me by my proper name at all times!" That threw her off. Colton wasn't surprised; she was far more used to ordering his uncle around than him, so any kind of resistance - even if it was in good faith - was met with a screech. "I am a woman that deserves proper respect an recognition!"

"Y-yes, of course, sweet pea. W-whatever you say." At least he tried..., the young viscount thought grimly as he tried to come up with any kind of solution to change his imperious aunt's mind.

What he didn't account for was that a massive flail wreathed in flames would come crashing from through the ceiling and land right before him. "Young Colton Gatwick, what is the meaning of this?!" Aunt Geraldine shrilled once she shook off the stupor from something so sudden. Colton didn't really know himself, but it was cool and it shut his aunt up for a moment.

Yo. He heard the voice in his head call out to him; a rough, but otherwise friendly man. You probably have a lot of questions, but the long story short is that your family descends from Sir Kay of the Round Table. That would be me.

"Wait wait wait, what's all this? Are you serious?" Of course, the matter remained that nobody but here could hear him, which invited all sorts of questions.

"Colton Gatwick, what is the meaning of this?!" The aunt shrilled again as she tried to approach the circle only to be repelled with a flare of energy. This circle was only meant for the new Knight of the Round Table.

She seems like a handful. Anyway, best that my brother explains it to you. Grab the flail. Colton couldn't help but listen. The man spoke to him as if they were equals despite his standing - after all, what was a viscount to an actual Knight of the Round Table? - and offered him greatness. Not just for himself, but perhaps for his sister as well. Heedless of his aunt trying to break the barrier - with shrills and screams, apparently - he grabbed the flail.

Camelot, ????

Next thing he knew, he was in a castle - still wearing the stupid crimson frock he had to wear earlier - and with the flail in his hands.

The sword on the throne - likely what remained of King Arthur himself - spoke to him. Colton had a lot of questions, but it seemed there was no time for that. A grave threat, he said... must have been the aliens that he kept hearing about recently.

He went down on one knee without hesitation. "You shall have me, Once and Future King."

BRITAIN

Hahn awoke to dust raining down on him, blood trickled from as gash on his forehead as he slowly sat up-all traces of drowsiness eradicated as it dawned on him...destruction, all around him. He could see the monster, stumbling around like a drunk as a building collapsed. He heard people scream as the earth shook with each step.

''"Hail, Hahn, son of Andrejz." Someone spoke in his head, it was deep voice and it was in polish too. No one save for Mama and Papa-Where were they?" He called for them, hearing nothing. They wouldn't leave him when Narcolepsy set in which meant...they were dead. He fell to his knees, all strength leaving him as he looked around. Tears began to leak from his eyes before a ton of mud flew at him, only to miss by mere feet, splattering on a car with enough for to destroy it. Fear gripped him as he took a single step back, his mind reeling when he saw something. A golden wall of light surrounded him and on the ground, at his feet was a poleax-as long as he was tall.

"Pick it up. I am Judge, jury, and if needs be, executioner." The voice demanded.

"But-the-the!" Hahns cleared his throat and pointed in silent horror at the beast.

"I grant you the ability to pass judgment upon it. As I have with the knights, I shall do upon hellspawn. I am The Green Knight, and you, Hahn are worthy of the title."

This was insane! Nothing made sense...Hahn hesitantly gripped the weapon, not sure what to expect.

THE CASTLE

Not this. Hahn appeared, a nervous wreck as he gripped his weapon with white knuckles. he heard the voice in his head. "Kto? Kim jest ... Kim jesteś? Co on mówi? Co on mówi?" He said, looking around in panicked confusion before he saw the other knight and gestured. "Proszę, powiedz mi coś!"

Kingsleigh Residence: Westminster City, London.

"No Mum, I just tripped over a bump in the rug" Matt Kingsleigh called down the hall, his head poking out from the doorway. "Everything's fine, really. You don't need to come up...yes, I'll be more careful. Sorry for the scare."

Satisfied that nobody would be coming into his room, the redhead quickly shut the door and heaved a sigh of relief. "Thank god...Mum would go batshit if she saw this thing in my room." He muttered, rubbing his head with one hand.

Said "thing" was a double-edged arming sword that had shot into his room through the open window, and was currently floating a few inches off the ground.

I'm afraid that will be the least of your worries, Matthew. Matt froze when a male voice rang in his head. I am Sir Percival, Knight of the Round table and your ancestor.

"You...are my...ancestor.'' Matt repeated slowly as he digested the new revelation. "Right...shouldn't you be, you know, dead? Instead of sitting in my room as a floating sword speaking in my mind?"

Percival's voice laughed at that. No, no. Thankfully I am not the sword itself, as I imagine such an existence would be rather hellish. I am...simply put, speaking through it, to you. He explained, before adopting a more serious tone. Sadly, time is short, and I...no, Camelot has need of your services, Matthew. Should you want to know more, Art...King Arthur shall explain better than I.

"King Arth-" Matt cut himself off and took a couple of deep breaths to calm himself. "Right, King Arthur exists. Fine, how do I contact him?"

Grab the sword. Percival instructed, before falling silent.

"...Seriously? That's all?" the redhead questioned as he grabbed the sword's hilt. "N-"

Camelot

"-ow..." Matt's voice died down as he registered the sudden change in scenery. Bloody hell. First aliens on the news, then Arthurian legends are real, and now teleporting swords. When did my life become a Dr. Who episode?

A nearby voice drew his attention to two older men in the room: one weilding a flail and the other gripping a poleax. The latter was also speaking in a foreign language...

"Sorry, what?" "Matt spoke to the man, "I don't understand what you're saying."

Camelot

Two new arrivals showed up; one with a poleax and another with a proper sword. Colton rose from his knee as he regarded the first one with a slightly tilted head. Polish. Seemed his grasp on English wasn't the best. Neither was Colton's on his language, but it was worth trying out.

"Lemme try." He muttered to Matt before approaching Hahn slowly, moving his jaw a little. That Slavic language was a doozy to pronounce. "Dzeen doobri. Czie moowish po ahngeelskoo?" He tried addressing him, horribly mangling the pronounciation in the process. Here was hoping that the other guy could understand him.

St Austell, Cornwall, England, UK: Conners Family Home

Even as the news kept going on about the mysterious (and very, very bad feeling inducing) thing that appeared from out of nowhere in the Midlands, the house was a flurry of activity as a young woman briskly (but calmly, she wasn't panicking, nope) helped her younger siblings and grandmother pack their things and lock up the house.

Jen Conners did not like their chances with that thing and after a long arguement with her grandmother, had convinced her family to get out and head for her flat in London.

So much for a vacation, Jen thought wryly, wiping her forehead and brushing back her black hair.

"What do you think that thing is? Maybe it's an alien! Do you think they come in peace?!" Jen's youngest brother, 13-year old Francis said, adjusting his glasses and waving excitedly.

"Please, aliens don't exist. It's probably just a military weapon." 16 year old Ephraim said as he carefully packed his weights.

"Military? Oh, I hope not! Why can't we all just live in peace..." Ephraim's twin, Erika, said, trying to pick a jacket to wear.

Bryan, with all the seriousness of his fifteen years, offered a succint comment.

"I think we're all bloody fucked."

Jen snorted.

"Okay, that's enough. Everyone finish up, we..."

She didn't get a chance to finish because at that moment, something chose to fly in through the window at terrific speed, almost whacking Jen in the face.

"Oh, what the hell?!" yelled Bryan, jumping back, tripping and landing on his butt.

Erika screamed, and Ephraim positioned himself protectively in front of his sister.

"Cool!" Francis exclaimed and he started to approach the thing, but Jen pulled him back and shoved him towards Ephraim, while she put herself in front of the others and looking at the...sceptre?

Indeed, it was a sceptre, black and gold with a small crownlike thing on top, the handle polished wood.

Hullo. Did I scare you? Apologies, but I do have a schedule to keep, and I have to make it fast.

Everyone blinked.

Jen found her courage. "You talk?! Uhhh, look, I don't know why you're here, but we don't want any trouble!"

The sceptre honest to goodness sighed. It sounded almost sad.

And yet it seems trouble has found you anway. I am sorry that you have to be dragged into this just because we share blood...no, more than that, because we share souls. Ah, forgive my lack of manners. Let me introduce myself. My name is Guinevere, daughter of Leodegrance, queen of Camelot.

Everyone blinked again.

Francis looked absolutely giddy.

"Guinevere? Like, the queen? The one that fucked up everything?" Bryan asked.

Jen promptly kicked him in the shin, because you do not insult the ghost inside a magic sceptre, what the hell!

Predictably, Guinevere was annoyed.

Well, excuse me! Ugh, I don't have time for this! Look, Jennifer, I'm here to call you and give you the power to fight back what's coming.

Jen frowned. "What's coming? What do you mean?"

Guinevere seemed to sigh again, and instead on answering, flew right into Jen's open hand and with a flash of light and amidst the screams and protests of her siblings, Jennifer Conners was whisked away in a pillar of light.

Camelot

Jen landed on her knees in a strange...hall? The sceptre was still in her hand.

"What the?! Where am I?!" she yelped, glancing wildly at everything, breathing heavily.

She looked at the sceptre and started shaking it, but Guinevere did not respond.

Snarling in frustration, Jen decided to find a way out of here. She got to her feet and started walking...

Eventually she found herself in...a throne room? She looked in awe at everything, before she noticed the others in the room.

And then she was talking, but not really, it was her voice, her mouth, but the words were not her own.

"Oh. Oh dear me, we really are desperate, aren't we?

She looked at everyone in the room, glancing from one person to the next.

"Kay, Percival...Bertilak, of all people? I didn't think we could not contact the greatest knights. No Gawain, no Lancelot and Galahad. At this point, I'd settle for Bors or Gareth or Tristan."

Horrified at what she had said, Jen promptly blushed and started apologizing.

"I'm sorry! It wasn't me! She said it, it was her! Guinevere! I-if she really is who she says she is, anyway..."

At that moment, she looked at the sword and the throne and strange heavy feeling fell on her.

Sadness, pride....guilt? Lots of guilt.

She blinked back tears, and tried to make sense of everything...

Nothing is what it seems. Master of Shipping and Sadism.

Leicestershire.

"Run...Dribble...Sprint..." A teen only had that going going through his mind as he kept up his training. While he wouldn't make it as a pro, Kyle Helios always felt his mind clear when doing this kind of things. The repeated motions have always helped him, that's why he came today, he needed to think.

The ball on his feet just kept dancing to his tune. As he approached the box, he stopped, and his right leg raised to the air, and quickly went against the football, sending it directly against the upper left corner of the goal. Kyle raised his fist to the skies, before hearing someone clapping. He turned around and saw a shorter, brown-haired woman wearing a green blouse and black pants. It was Iris Helios, his mother and a schoolteacher.

"Hi, mum"

"They told me you would come here" She said, looking at his white and green ensemble "Was it what you needed?"

"Yeah, it helps me to breathe" He answered, jumping into the passenger's seat of the silver family car as he changed shoes to a couple of black running shoes.

"So, did you think about our talk?" The matriarch asked, breaking the ice. Kyle sighed, he'd expected that.

"Yeah, I dunno, studying law sounds good, but teaching sounds tempting. Maybe I'll just follow J and become a police"

"So, not much progress in the end?" Kyle just looked up at the sky, with his mind in other place.

"No, I know I must start thinking of the future, but I can't convince myself to pick one"

"The future is scary, isn't it?" Iris patted his arm to console him "But you have to take your choices. Being scared isn't like you" Kyle smiled.

"Thanks, mum" With that, the house was on sight, and Kyle took off the seat belt and got out of the car, feeling better about things. As they started to walk in, but something caught his eye. A bright light cruised the sky...

Directly to them.

Kyle didn't think, as the thing got closer, he tackled his mother out of the way, and his eyes closed, expecting an impact.

It never came.

In front of him, a beautiful golden spear was occupying the space next to him, just planted on the ground.

"What?"

Nice moves, young man Kyle and Iris both looked around for that voice, but no one was around. I am right here

"Who are you?" Kyle asked, looking both at the spear and his confused mother.

My apologies, I am Sir Gawain, you might know me as a Knight of the Round Table The voice turned a bit more formal. They were in front of one of the most famous knights of all time. Words failed both of them for a second, letting the man continue.

You are quite the lucky boy. But it's to be expected from my descendant, but I have a mission for you, I hope you are ready

"Wait, wait, wait, go from the top, spear man" Kyle started protesting. Iris still couldn't speak.

A big danger is coming, and the power to battle could only be wielded by those who descend from the Knights can fight it, we left a gift behind if a disaster happened. Now, do you have what it takes to step up? Kyle just looked at Iris and smiled. While a part of him wanted to tell Sir Gawain that he got the wrong brother, he refrained to. Fear wasn't something that stopped him before, and whatever sense of pride he has compelled him to rise to this challenge.

"Mum, don't worry" He said "It'll take all Hell to take me down"

''Excellent, now, grab the spear, and all will be clear" Kyle's hand shot up, and disappeared in the light.

Camelot

Kyle stumbled as he arrived to a strange castle, and found himself surrounded by people. Looking around, he saw several other young people, and took note of their weapons: A sword, a mace, a scepter...

Well, could be worse Gawain said, looking around Even if it is not clear how

"Sometimes, it's better to keep quiet, old man" He twirled the spear for a second.

"Am I late?"

Camelot: Throne Room

Did the lady just diss me out of the blue?

The slightly condescending tone of the young sceptre-weilding woman irked Matt, and the reveal of the speaker's true identity did little to calm him.

"Well excuse me for not being a better knight's descendant, Queenie, but we're here and they're not, so you'll have to fucking deal with it." He snapped, prompting Percival to speak up

"I apoligize for Lady Guinevere's words, these are trying times for Camelot, especially its King and Queen."

Ugh...okay, fine. I get that she has reasons for acting like that...doesn't mean I'll like it or take it lying down.

The mental discussion was interrupted by the arrival of another person, this one a man carrying a spear.Oddly enough, Percival seemed to perk up slightly at the new arrival.

"No bloody clue. We all arrived here less than a minute before you." Matt responded to the newcomer.

I will be using normal font for Colton and red for Kay, to make things easier on everybody.

"How about you stuff it, Queenie?" It seemed King Arthur's troublesome brother wanted to say his piece too. Judging by the increasingly panicked expression on Colton's face, he was not controlling his lips. "We're the best lads for the job when it comes to wanton slaughter. None of that courtly love you and your French loverboy are so fond of."

CAMELOT

Hahn tensed, holding his poleax before frowning and nodding his head. His relief palpable. "Ranek. Uh ... mówisz po polsku." He said, before smiling at having someone to communicate with-however, instantly, he began to talk, babling in terror. "Co się dzieje? Gdzie ja jestem? Dlaczego wszyscy mamy broń? Dlaczego słyszę głosy? Czy wiesz? Czy ktoś o tym wie? Jaki jest tron?" Suddenly, more people showed up and Hahn pointed to them nervously. "Kim oni są?"

Suddenly, he seized the young man's shoulder in a suprisingly strong grip and shouted in his face; "Potwór! Czy moje rodzice są bezpieczni? Proszę, powiedz, że są bezpieczni!"

Kyle admitted that putting much thought on things wasn't something he did often, mostly just acts and says however he feels right and prepares himself for the consequences. That's why he just grasped the weapon now on his hand, even if he feels like Gawain should take back his choice and go for James.

But that doesn't mean he is stupid. Most of the time, he can tell what's going on and keep the bad from going too far. The first thing he noticed was how tense things seemed, apparently, either side of the girl with the scepter pissed someone off and the well-dressed kid with the mace snapped, but his face didn't match what he was shouting. On the side, the one with a poleaxe was rambling on another language and apparently panicking.

"I kinda knew that the whole Camelot story ended badly, but damn"

But Gawain was already on the move, and Kyle discovered how strange it is to have someone else talk through you.

"Greetings to everyone" He said "As happy or conflicted I am to see you again, I see there are still many things left unresolved, but we still have urgent matters to solve so please leave it for later" After that, Kyle was back on the front.

"Give me a warning next time, old man" He muttered, but tried to put on a smile "You know, this whole thing is insane and not likely to get better, so to get something going, I am Kyle Helios, the other museum pieces will likely tell you where I come from, it's nice to meet you all, but I first want to know what's going on, so please can we move on?"

Derek muttered pithy sayings to himself, trying to figure out a pitch for his thesis. The march of technology was in the hands of empires and hierarchies, and the flow of information was like a river, with the big men upstairs dredging whatever they could get.

"Our information is not our own..." He muttered to himself. Derek had taken some time today to go for a drive, cruising through the English countryside. "Ownership is... huh. Hm." That ownership thing had stuck with him. England was a land conquered and reconquered. Tolkein and Mallory and the lot had to invent English folklore wholecloth to replace the lost Pagan traditions, but just as easily the English themselves steamrolled and conquered like 60% of the world. Beynder started talking to himself as he picked up speed a little bit. "...So it was a cycle of conquering and reconquering and control of narrative and information which continued entirely into—"

A blinding light hit Beynder's car, smashed through the windshield, slammed into his hand, and scared Derek shitless. The chubby dude cranked the wheel to the side of the road, screaming, and skid to a stop in a ditch.

"DEREK!" A voice proclaimed, filling the car. "YOU HAVE A GREAT—YOU—STOP—stop screaming, Derek Beynder!"

Derek would not stop screaming in terror, gripping the wheel. "What the fuck is happening?!"

"Pick up the bow!"

Derek looked over at an antique bow sitting in the passenger's seat. Maybe out of both confusion and maybe a little bit of a concussion, he reached for it out of a lack of anything else to do. He vanished, and his car remained empty on the side of the road.

The first announcement of Derek's presence in Camelot was the plop as Derek teleported in and promptly fell on his ass, followed by his weapon declaring, "Guinevere about to get killed again? Lancelot and Arthur having another tiff? Sir S—"

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Derek wasn't about to let go of the bow but he was also keeping it at arm's reach as he looked around the room incredulously. He started smiling a bit, trying to keep it together. "A—alright, starting to figure this—"

"Sir Safir! My name is Sir Safir! Learn some tact, Beynder!" The bow yelled again. Derek flinched a bit and snorted.

"Safir. Fine." He said. "And I'm Derek Beynder. Someone mention Guinevere? Wha—we doing some—some Knights Stuff right now then?"

It seemed there were some issues that Arthur hadn't thought to prepare for. Of course it had been a great number of years and blood traveled quickly, so it made sense that at least one or two of their new arrivals wouldn't speak the same language. But such had never prevented communication before, especially for one with the power of Camelot behind him. So in a tone both calm but authorize Arthur spoke to Hahn. "Poczuj się dzieckiem, nie musisz się obawiać." the fastest work around would be simply to force the knowledge into Hahn's mind, but doing so without permission didn't sit well with the old king, so instead Arthur willed an invisible field around the young man, which would translate sound coming out of him, and coming toward him.

Back in the old days he would have simply asked Merlin to do this, but his oldest adviser had disappeared before the fall and he had no idea where about he could be in this modern day. "There, now we should all be able to understand each other."

Now that there was a small bit of peace the Once and Future King observed the six people that had been brought before him. Each of them was a decedent of one of the members of his Court, even if they had issues at the end he would trust them against any foreign foe. It felt a bit like coming home to the king, surrounded by those brave enough to bear arms in the name of justice. "I wish we had time to explain the situation as it stands, but for now I must ask for a small amount of trust with a simple explanation." before the assembled group a floating screen appeared, showing the multi-armed beast flailing about in its rage.

"The monster you see here is a servant of a vicious race known to us as 'Invaders', and much like the barbarians faced by Camelot once upon a time they seek only to destroy and take what they desire. However they act on a much larger scale, dropping forth their altered 'Bio-Beasts' to soften the defense of a world before taking what they need from it. What you see before you is but one example of the nightmares which they have in store."

He let that information sink in before continuing. "As decedents of the knights you can be given access to a power that equals our foes, access to the final great works of the Lady of the Lake, and the Wizard Merlin," six screens appeared before each of them, showing their personal Knight's from various angles

"However you will not be forced to do this, I will not lie and say that these weapons will offer you absolute safety, nor will they ensure victory in all battles. But I can promise that without you the world you know will fall. Even with the advancement of your world in the years since my passing it is highly unlikely they will be able to stand against the invasion, and like a swarm of locusts they will take the very life from the world. Accept this duty and Camelot will open its gates for your families as well, as a sign of respect towards your sacrifice toward this fight."

The blade glowed a soft and gentle white. "Once my brotherhood was destroyed by petty infighting and troubles, so I can allow for no doubt. Take time, speak amongst yourselves but by clear in your decision, what will you do knowing what lies ahead?'

"Guess it's time, huh?" The young man took a good look at the white behemoth in front of him, before giving a step forward.

"I was warned when taking this weapon that it'll be dangerous" With that, a chuckle came out of him "Even then, I am here. While I do not know whether I'll be able to help, I accept"

Camelot

Hahn went on a tirade and Colton just... could not understand a word. "Bugger all... anyone here know Polish?" He looked at the new arrivals, gently but firmly taking his hands off his shoulders. One of them in particular was taking the arrival badly. Funny, since he seemed to be the oldest of them too.

"It's aliens. We'll be beating up aliens." He explained to Derek with a shrug and King Arthur's explanation only confirmed that suspicion. He was still a little out of it - it honestly felt like Kay was helping him find the right words half the time - so he wasn't really sure what was happening himself, but... everything beat being stuck in the same room with his aunt.

The creature Arthur showed to them was the one the TV broadcasts covered. Apparently there were more to come, too, and this one wasn't even the alien species itself, just a bio-engineered Servant. That kind of genre clash was already making Colton's head spin, and then they got the mechas. The fucking mechas, made by Lady of the Lake and Merlin.

...his looked like it came out of some hillbilly sci-fi. "Jaysus Christ, it's hideous." He muttered as he glanced at other Knights having much more elegant, proper forms. Well, "elegant and proper"; apparently Queenie's mech had dangling breasts. It still looked way more... "mecha"-ish than his scrap iron though.

Of course, Colton loved it. "It's amazing."

"Ha, I knew you'd like it!" Kay laughed, undaunted by the hideous form himself. Such was the true meaning of combat; gritty, ugly and effective. "I'm a simple man and I'm happy to have a straightforward descendant too."

Arthur warned them that without them the world would fail. So much for "choosing" really. However, he said something equally important in Colton's view. "You should have said so from the beginning. I've no reason not to back down from this fight now." Colton chuckled and undid the top part of the frock, folding it idly in his hands. "If you can guard my sister from danger, Once And Future King, then I wholeheartedly accept the duty you bestow upon me."

Hahn froze, slowly falling to his knees as he looked at the monster. "We....we are fighting that?" His voice sounded monotone, like a google translate or a man translating him, it didn't match his voice but it translated what he was saying.

"I'm sorry, but...anything? How can we fight that? I..." He shook his head. "If this works, I'm agreeing to this but your suggestion? That's madness! That's nothing but madness! We need military help, we need..." He sighed, remembering his father's stories of his grandfather's actions and shook his head. "Fine. Fine. I'll...I'm here, King Arthur...Just, how do we stop that?"

Safir snorted. "Awfully self-deprecating that you called a Saracen to defend your lands from alien invaders. Shame that I didn't get to bring this thing to bear against you losers when Lancelot defected, but no time like the present to get it moving."

Derek for his measure didn't sit up just yet. He was sort of frozen in amazement at the machine displayed for him, relatively small to the other mechs but still an armored behemoth in its own right. It was, to Derek, a thing of beauty, that light in the dark he'd been looking for. It froze him for a second, even with the world falling down around him.

"Put me in it." He said. "My family's one thing sure, but like... tell me profs and my shift manager I'm going to be busy too, man."

Camelot

Matt raised an eyebrow at his Knight unit, which didn't look very...knightly, not that he had a problem with it's design.

"Well shit, this wasn't how I expected my day to go." He muttered to himself. "Wake up, go to school, try to stop the anihilation of earth with a bloody mecha..."

The boy debated the decision for a short while, before he made his choice. "Alright, I'll help you lot! Never been a quitter before, and I'll be damned if I start today!"

"You sound like you're trying to convince yourself a little there..."'

Damn right I am! Why the hell would I not be scared to fight for my life?

Camelot

"How do we stop them, lads? With unbound, wanton slaughter!" Kay took control of Colton's mouth again, laughing. "We rip their spines out and fashion their skulls into drinking skulls. Or beat one to death with another's spine. That's fine by me, too."

"Jaysus... I knew Kay's a brute, but this is a new standard..." Colton muttered once he regained his bearings. "He's right though. We've got these mechas, so we can put them to a good use."

"Yes, but we don't know how to drive the mechas." Hahn barked at Colton, though it was still monotone. "Are we truly going to go against that in things that we do not know will move? Things we do not know how to even walk? or if they will work?" His knight had gone silent, leaving Hahn confused and concerned.

"Why not send in americans? They shot Osama! Surely they have mechs?"

"In all honesty, I doubt it" Kyle commented "These mechas look pretty advanced, even if Kay's looks busted up, I doubt they can make anything like that work well enough to clash against such abominations"

Still, for them to have this kinda thing more than a millennium ago, it's unbelievable Kyle's mind flashed at his own Knight. An imposing white machine, among the biggest of the bunch, made to fight up close. The sun emblems and the cape might be a bit too much, but he could tell it was powerful.

"You have accepted it all too easily, young Kyle, you impress me, but you should tell how you really feel before it becomes worrying Gawain told Kyle, who shrugged

Eh, once things really start blowing up, I'll start shouting obscenities at the top of my lungs The lad answered.

"Still. I can't believe that something like this existed so long ago, how did it all disappear?"
