I am not sure if this the right spot for this if this is not the right spot for this then could you tell me where I should post this then.

How can make my description of one the main characters better? I would him like to be rugged (having a sturdy build) and he is at 6'3" tall. How would go about describing his scar around his left eye if I want the scar to be visible even though he wears an eyepatch over his left eye? What would you think he could be wearing clothing wise if I know I want him to be wearing some type of boots. What would be the best form of transportation for him use due the fact he has one functional eye? Also, how would go about setting up as another of the main character an immortal gunslinger and his description where he is not a copy of Roland Deschain.

He is a tall male. He is muscular in an athletic way, with sleek muscles rippling under his tan skin. His white hair that is tied in a ponytail with multiple bands descends down his back down to his elbows. His right eye is gray in color while over his left eye he wears an eyepatch. His thick eyebrows are rounded. His medium size nose has an upward tilt to it. He has a circular beard. On his back, he carries a two-handed sword. On his right arm, he has a tattoo of a large cobra.

My advice is to not worry so much about the literal description of your character. Most of the time, the audience will paint a picture in their mind of what a character looks like before reading a description and that can be hard to change. You can intersperse small details here and there, but describing a character full out like you did in the last paragraph if your post would be considered amateurish. Trust your audience and work on using diction and body language to express your rugged, seasoned adventurer.

Yeah, I was wondering if you were aware of the resemblance...

"The eyepatch hid the eye, but it couldn't hide the reason. Shootman's most distinguishing feature, the one thing dreams always got right, was that big ol' scar running from his hairline to his lip." A single eye doesn't stop you from being able to drive, incidentally, but an animal requires fewer parts and less maintenance to operate.

And if you don't want him to be a Roland copy, don't make him a Roland copy.

No visible muscles - unless he's a special breed of Civilian who doesn't need to worry about sunburns. (Besides which, visible muscles are a sign that you've been spending time at the gym and want to brag about it; the gunman you're describing would probably have a reputation that makes it unnecessary.) Clothes could probably stand to be along the lines of a poncho, hat with a brim, long pants, and boots - cotton and leather should do - and simpler is better in a world where materials are hard to come by.

That hair would get in the way. Constantly. It just tells people that you, the writer, have short hair, and have never handled a sword (which, slung over the back, would eventually get tangled in the hair - or vice-versa). You don't want that. A sword is going to be less useful than an axe, in this case, because it's a pure weapon with little to no out-of-combat utility. A survivor would use an axe plus a knife.

Writing checklists tell you to care about noses, but you really shouldn't care about noses. They are an appendage, not a window into the soul. Pay attention to his fingers and hands instead.

EDIT: [down] Yeah, anything longer than shoulder length starts getting in the way... unless you take steps to cover it somehow. Long flowing hair = cumbersome. Long flowing hair in a braid = heavy and cumbersome, unless you get it under your clothes or hold it down somehow. Long flowing hair in a Princess Leia twin-bun = blaster time.

[up] now i feel like poop reading this but agree. don't go full detail on a character though personally, i don't care for practical things that much. i only so i won't be called an idiot for having one of my sword wielding characters having medium length hair.
