I lean toward the second take pending other ideas.
Kind of works. The current also kind of works, but it's so close to the page quote I'd rather have something else, so the change would be an improvement.

Okay, that's getting my vote for now.
I prefer over OP, because it sort of contextualizes why he's punctuating for emphasis. The dialogue is also more immediately visible, while in OP I'm drawn to the girl's blonde head.
Definitely better.

(Annoyed grunt)I now greatly regret the time it took for me to get that screen cap of the game... what a waste.
That's being overly literal to the name of the trope.
Check out my fanfiction!4 is good.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes."Yes! I! Do!"
No caption.
(Annoyed grunt)This is way past the point of needing to be closed; doing so now.
So this trope is about Punctuating! Repeatedly! For! Emphasis! That! This! Is! Important!
The actual image only does it once which isn't really representative of the trope.
I was thinking something more on the lines of this which better exemplifies the trope.
EDIT the uploading came out a little bit fuzzy, odd. Did I screw it up?
