I'm wondering if this trope exists and what it might be called. I know I've seen it a few times, be I can't remember where.
Example: B = Bad Guy P = Protagonist F = Friend, etc
(B drops a Molotov cocktail and bursts into flames, flailing and dying slowly) (P stands by watching) F: (Put hand on P's arm) Come on. You don't need to see this. P: (Looking stern/resolute) Yes... I do.
