Not sure what's so busy about the Sunken Scrolls. If it's the background, we can always crop it to feature just the picture.
But just in case:
I still prefer the Maw or the Sunken Scroll with the apocalyptical verse.

The Maw pic from the OP or the first scroll pic work best for me.
"MAWS" gets my vote.
Scroll 17 gets my vote. Not too busy and the description goes very well with it also. MAWS is a little messy thanks to the ink, and isn't really... scary.

So we have 4 for Maws, and 3 for the Sunken Scroll 17. And 1 for neither. A slight edge for Maws, but that can change.
As for the ink problem, if someone can find a Maws eating an Inkling without as many ink particles, that would be nice.

Scroll 17 is good due to how barbaric salmonids are although their hilarious appearance. It also is an interesting "SWITCH" from vibrant colors to a black and white, ominous painting on par with the noises from the first game. Also, I really can't help but chuckle at the Jaws reference that I don't think it'll work.
