Checked the link to the actual strip, and it's only using the second half of the strip. If half of a comic strip is used, it's within bounds. Length is kinda awkward, though, so I second that.
As for fitting Failed Attempt at Drama... it could fit, but the image there suits the page just fine.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Remove regardless.
(Annoyed grunt)Pull current.
Pull regardless of replacement.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyThis Monty Python And The Holy Grail scene comes to mind as a replacement, but I'm not sure which screenshot combination would make the best replacement.
Something from this Gunnerkrigg Court page (for the record, it's the whole chapter)? Maybe combined with the chapter title page?
EDIT: Something like this:
EDIT 2: Or this:

Spiral out, keep going.I can live without the chapter title, it takes up a lot of space. Could be relegated to the caption, if ever.
Something with the last five panels of this? I'm thinking panels 7-10, but the 11th one lampshades the trope.
Of the Gunnerkrigg Court examples I prefer the second one for demonstrating the trope.

Hey, that's pretty good.
While I appreciate the idea for the anticlimax picture, it feels a bit close to being more than fair use; it's literally an entire chapter of Gunnerkrigg Court (which of course, is the entire point of that chapter). Maybe we could run this by the author?
This is way past the closing point and I'm not seeing enough consensus for anything; locking up.
So many things wrong with this one. First it's actually illustrating Failed Attempt at Drama. Second, it looks like it's a full strip turned on its side. Finally, it's a little bit too long and stretches into the examples. Unfortunately I don't have a good replacement at the moment, but for now I'd suggest removing the current and worrying about a replacement later.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.
