I don't think the current is awful but the suggestion is an improvement.
I don't mind the current. It also has more character than "action figures pose for a poster".

Check out my fanfiction!Either.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"The current one is cool, I don't think the posters with all the other characters are good.

And it bothers nobody that the current doesn't even have a title? The opening date is utterly meaningless.
Why would it bother me that a phrase you can read on the top of the page and on the browser tab isn't in the image?
The date dates it. It gives information about when the film was made.
Check out my fanfiction!I'm for the picture of Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Vulture. But the current one is certainly better than the photoshop vomit that is the official poster.
Here's◊ an official poster that doesn't include any additional characters and (somewhat) shows the title.
I prefer the current image because it communicates the more casual, comedic tone of the movie with Spider-Man's relaxed posture.
It also shows the new connection with the MCU with the prominence of Stark Tower.
We see Spider-Man better on this picture, but it's a bit generic.
The current one is fine. If you're on the page, you already know what you're looking at. The poster clearly communicates that it's a Spiderman movie & that it takes place in the MCU. (The current poster was also super hyped in the run-up to the film's release, so the image of "Spiderman chilling against the backdrop of the New York skyline" is strongly associated with the film.)
Keep Current.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyI agree that the picture should have the title and no date, as awful as the posters are. I reluctantly say change it.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Keep current. I think it gets Peter's personality across more.
Keep the current. I see no need for a switch.
Use the one from 2. It features an action scene, and the 3 main characters of the film. Some years from now, when this film ceases to be the hot new film of the month, it will be easier to set apart which of all the Spider-Man films made so far it is.
Ultimate Secret WarsCurrent one puts more emphasis on high school elements which are larger parts of this film than other spider-man films in past and other MCU films as well. I say keep it.
Current > 9.1 > OP.
Clock is set.
The current image, with the logo replacing the date, though it also underwent some zooming.◊

That's a great edit, and I support it.
I didn't make it myself, I just found it on Blu-Ray.com.
I think the zooming makes the composition worse, and I don't see a point in having the title, since it's already on the page.

Nominations for replacement images:
Okay, now that the movie is out, can we finally have a poster that actually have the title on it, like this one◊? The current one is really awful.
