So one of my villains is supposed to be a great manipulator and a seducer. An important plot point is that a Femme Fatale tries to seduce him, but he turns the table on her and she ends up becoming his pawn. This is partially accomplished through trickery, as he pretends that she's the dominant one in the relationship, but she also develops a genuine attraction to him. I'm wondering how I can pull this off believably. The character is supposed to be good-looking, but that can't be the only reason why people fall for him, especially someone who also uses seduction. Thoughts?

This is entirely subjective to your Femme Fatale's personality but I imagine one as being very materialistic. If your protag is either very rich or has other methods of acquiring money and valuables, that could be one way he could turn the tables. She may believe that she's got the guy wrapped around her finger to the point that he's willing to spend lavishly for her but in reality this makes her feel like she's in a comfortable spot that allows the guy to take steps into asking her favors, and to continue getting stuff, she obliges.

Well he is supposed to be an aristocrat, thought one that doesn't live a lifestyle that's too opulent. He's the kind of person who would show up to a party in a simple suit and tie, as opposed to some garish costume.
