ITT: We Have All Switched Bodies With Our Avatars!

As expected, I'm using Kaiser Bill◊. Also, I'm on a pavement on a (normally) busy square.

huh, what?

>I wake up, in some sort of city. I try to go back to sleep, but to no avail. I examine the surroundings.

wait, this isn't my room. Hold up, where am I? Did I just wake up in the middle of nowhere? Where are my stuff? My teddy bear? How would my family react when I'm gone? I-

>I hold my hand against my chest and try to breathe. My chest feels funny. Actually, my hands feel funny as well. They feel... big. I look at my hands, and find out that my left arm is shorter than my right arm. I move it around. After doing so, I stand up and check my entire body. I mutter,

"What the hell happened to m- whoa, my voice!"

>I try walking around, in search for answers. Eventually, I come across myself, sleeping in my pyjamas.

what. just happened.

>I kick myself, or rather, the person inhabiting my body. They wake up.

"w-was? Was zum Teufel!?"

"What the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck." Struggling to move, I pick myself up. "Stupid 585 pound robotic anatomy. How could anyone move in this body?"

"How could anyone move in this body?" Circus Baby complained, almost falling over when taking a step with their new human feet. "It's so thin and feeble."

"You're using too much force because you're used to that much, silly. Let me try." Katey said in her cute British accent before walking like a normal person to the apartment door. "See? It's so easy."

"Oh, shut up and keep walking."

>Kaiser Wilhelm was sleeping peacefully. Suddenly, he felt himself being kicked awake. He also felt himself lying down in the cold hard pavement.

"Ughhh... Who dares kick der Kaiser?"

>The Kaiser's eyes flutter open. His vision was... oddly blurry. He squinted, and there he saw himself kicking him awake. Wait, what?

"w-was? Was zum Teufel?"
"Hey, you. Me. Whatever. Wake up, ya butt."
"Wha- What's happening?"
"Beats me."

>The other Kaiser shrugs. Wilhelm also hears that his voice has a higher pitch than before. He doesn't recall having a cold...

"C'mon, lazybones. Get up."

>I hold out a hand to Wilhelm, which he accepted. I help him up.

"What the hell? Where did I just wake up in? This isn't Berlin! How do I get back? I have an empire to run!"
"Dude, dude. Ya better chill for a moment. You obviously need some clothes and glasses. I mean, in the body you're in, your vision's pretty bad. Besides, you're walking around in your PJs!"
"What do you mean, 'the body I'm in'?"
"Ahaha... I'll let you figure that out yourself."

>Wilhelm takes a look at himself, and seems just as shocked as I was.

"W-was?! What is this? Why am I possessing an adolescent female body?"
"I'd like to find that out as well. But first, to the optometrist!"
"Pray don't forget to get me clothes. I can't be seen in these... undergarments!"
"yeah, sure. undergarments."

>We walked to an optometrist nearby, all while I act as Bill's watchdog.

"Optometrist? Why do they want a- ugh, just forget it, they can have one if they want."

(Gloved hands tap away on a keyboard for about a minute, and an eye doctor building suddenly appears nearby.)

(Meanwhile, back at the store...)

Is everybody done getting what they need yet?

I'm done. I say, as I feel a very slight inkling that I had felt before, but had not quite pinned down. Also, if I'm understanding these powers right, I believe that four newcomers have arrived. I vaguely remember in the game that Oersted had some awareness of others in his realm particularly before he killed them all but take it with a grain of salt.

I nod in reply to Sarya. "Stuff like this happens. My powers don't give me awareness of stuff, though. They just give me magic. Which is actually fairly simplistic."

I stumble towards the edge of the rooftop, making sure I don't accidentally trip and fall, and I look around. I notice a young female and a man whose suit is very brown.

"Oh, thank God there are other people in this town."

"This place looks great!" says Katey, inspecting the walls, the floor, the ceiling, and everything else in the hallway they're walking down. "Isn't it pretty, Baby?"

"It sucks. This body sucks. Everything right now sucks." complains Baby, throwing her arms up in the air for emphasis.

"At least we aren't a murder machine anymore, right?"

"Well, yeah..."

"So stop complaining, you grumpypants!"

"Alright, alright."

They continue to walk down the hallway, before walking down a staircase towards the exit.

Four newcomers here? Maybe I should go outside so they can see me and know where the rest of us are. They won't miss me, I bet.

(I crawl back out the front doors (still holding the groceries I got) and sit down outside, looking around to see if I can see the newcomers. I notice my reflection in the windows, with Plessie's big and somewhat goofy-looking face staring back at me.)

Man, it's really hitting me now. (I comment to myself.) I'm a big orange dinosaur wearing nothing but a bandanna. This is unbelievable.

Following kablammin the dinosaur, I look around but don't see anyone. Huh, maybe my hunch was wrong?

I then yell, HELLO? WE'RE ALL OVER HERE BY THE SUPERMARKET!

I proceed outside, still carrying the cauldron.

So, do we want to set up some sort of home base? It would help with planning out what we're going to do here, but it could also make us more vulnerable to attacks. Plus, I don't want to carry this thing around forever.

(Plessie also steps outside, still holding the tums.)

Do you think I can still have these when I'm myself?

Sarysa, would you be okay with a Scratch-Oersted meeting so they can either team up or have a villainous showdown?

Oersted would get flattened if that happened right now. Plus I'm leaving him for some future potential plans, don't want to consume him right away.

I hear a purple voice saying something about a supermarket, but I'm too focused on the people walking towards the optometrist to look. I slowly walk through the rooftop door of the skyscraper (having to shuffle through sideways due to my new body) and begin to walk normally fall down the stairs.

"OW FUCK SHIT DAMNIT WHY NO STOP NO PLEASE HELP" I scream as I continue to fall all the way down the stairs towards the bottom floor. After finally landing in front of the front door, I lay in place for a few minutes before beginning to stumble towards the optometrist.

"Did you hear that?" Circus Baby whispered as they walked further down the hallway.

"Hear what?" Katey whispered back.

"I heard another person, they said they were at the supermarket."

"Supermarket? Can we get lollies when we go there? Please? I haven't eaten anything in years, and you haven't eaten anything in your entire life!"

"Now that you mention it, that is an amazing idea! I guess one good thing about this human form is that it actually has a digestive system. Unfortunately, it still ages, and it sweats a lot."

"Let's go!" Katey yelled before running out of the apartment building and towards the supermarket.

Aha! I knew I saw....someone that way... (I remark as I see something approaching.)

What is that? (Plessie asks in confusion at the sight of the small child-like animatronic.)

I think I may have made this too confusing. Basically, I'm in Circus Baby's body (who's 7 foot 2 by the way) and I'm heading towards the optometrist, and Circus Baby + Katey (my name for the girl who possessed Circus Baby) are in my body, heading towards you.

I'll use gray text for NPC speech from now on. Also, how much money do we each get?

>While in the optometrist, Wilhelm gets his eyes checked.

"Looks like your l'il buddy here has pretty bad astigmatism and myopia. I'll prescribe her some specs."
"I'm not 'his l'il buddy'! I'm Kaiser Wilhelm! Der einzige Kaiser!"
*chuckles* "Whatever you say, kid. So... what frame do you want?"

>Wilhelm points to a simple round frame.

"Alright, that'll be $125."

Wait. I forgot that we need money. I-

I notice F and the Kaiser walking toward us, and wave, Hey! You're F right? The person with a bunch of historical avatars? I'm sary...a shame I didn't end up as Walpole, huh?

"So, this place can warp people from different time periods, too? Wow. Anyways, heyo! We've all switched bodies with random people! How is your chaotic day? Well, it's pretty obviously chaotic."

Just to clarify, everyone has at least 1500 dollars on them.

Whoa, you switched bodies with that guy? (I say in confusion.)

Why is that so surprising? (Plessie asks)

Uh...I'll explain later. Anyways, yeah, we've all switched bodies with different people, too. I switched with Plessie from Super Mario 3D World.

Random would continue to frown at caboose, as he attempted to find his pockets.

And- .... Caboose. Is there anything inside my battle armor? Other pockets? Anything? Random would ask, as Caboose shook his head no.

"Nope! This armor's the only thing we have! Besides the weapons. And the money, some candy, and maybe a few computer parts."

Random would stop to realize this factor, before sighing.

Then, he'd turn to see Kaiser freaking Wilhelm and a girl a few years younger than him approaching.

" The supreme warlord? Here- Well, at least his troops didn't come with him. And, at least I'm not any of the historical figures I tend to study. Then again, I could rock a toga. Hm."

"I'm going to assume you're F, and she's Wilhelm?" Random would ask, as Caboose began to wave at everyone.

I notice that the people going into the optometrist have gone over to the supermarket, and begin to follow.

"Wait, who are you people? Can you help me—" Pausing suddenly, I look to my left and see a weird, awkward, brown-haired—hey, wait a second. "That's me!"

"Lots of interesting people over there!" Katey says, pointing at the supermarket group. "Can you see them?"

"Of course I can see them, if you can see them, I can see them, we're in the same body." Circus Baby replies.

"Oh yeah, right. Haha." Walking towards the group, Circus Baby stops. "Why did you stop us?" Katey asks.

"I hear something. Something like...metal clanking together." Circus Baby jolts their head to the right. "Oh, how coincidental!"

"Woah, whaaat?"

"It's me. Well, us."

"Yeah, haha."

"Hey, Random, would you mind wearing a sombrero? I'd feel a lot better if one of Scratch's targets had the protection they need to not die if he plays dirty."

Er, I don't think that would fit in my helmet. Also, a punch from him would likely still hurt, though you have his super strength. Random'd note, before freezing.

Not a pocket. Okay, maybe this flap I- AHA! Random'd say, as he pulled out money.

"Yeah, I'm F. Wilhelm, say 'hello' to the nice people over here."
"I am not a child! Despite being in a young woman's body, you can't treat me like one!"

>Wilhelm glares at me and pouts.

"heh. not a child, my arse. Anyway, we were just about to get some grub. Say, do we have a place to stay here?"
"I'm the one who should be treated with respect! I should be the one ordering you around! I'm the Emperor of Germany and I'm older than you!"
"Wilhelm pls. You're hungry, let's go get some food."

>I try to hold Wilhelm's hand but he refused as he 'wants to walk to the supermarket his damn self, like an emperor should'. I tell him not to wander around and we walk through the aisles together.
