Ah that's right.
Indeed loopholes & such.
Thor better be possessing a guy who's jacked though.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."There's also Stheno, Euryale, Quetzalcoatl, Ishtar and Ereshkigal. Not counting that Tamamo is an avatar of Amaterasu or Rama one of Vishnu.
Basically, gods aren't heroic spirits and normally don't qualify as Servants, but under certain conditions can be summoned. Generally, only a fragment of them, though. Like Ishtar showed up thanks to possessing Tohsaka but can't properly use one of her NPs, Gugalanna, thanks to the current age.

Ishtar, and maybe Eresh are both possessing Rin. Quetz is the one that makes things confusing.

Wake me up at your own risk.Greek Gods were aliens so they can weasel their way in Im sure.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Wait are the 2 Gorgon sisters possessing someone or were they just summoned in a weaker state?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Euryale and Stheno are actually stronger than they were in life. The explanation for those two is kind of vague so I'm just going to have to tell you that they're basically avatars of their divine selves and thus don't have the kind of abilities they might have had in life. They're what's known as bunrei and you can just read that as 'avatar' for all intents and purposes even though it's a bit more complicated. Anyway, since they were godawful weak I'm not sure they really had any abilities to lose.

They were weaker than normal humans. Being Servants buffed then.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Ironically, those two are STRONGER as Servants. They didn't seem to be able to fight.
Wake me up at your own risk. They were so weak as gods they ended up being enhanced as Servants and Euryale's super confused by where the hell she got her bow since she didn't have one irl

Huh that is ironic.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Oh yeah, as for Quetzalcoatl, the actual Mesoamerican deities only acted through hosts, so the one we see is probably just what Quetzalcoatl looked like in one life. I've heard it suggested that she may actually be the famous king Quetzalcoatl from the 10th century or whenever he was alive. In the Babylonia chapter of FGO she's in a special situation though because she actually isn't nerfed like gods usually are when they exploit loopholes. As a result she has all of the original deity's immense gamebreaking powers and thus is so stupidly far above the level your party can handle that you have to basically count on the fact that she's actually really nice and doesn't want to hurt anyone anyway. Or at least not kill them. A real fight to the death would result in her mauling your entire party to death because she's strong enough to casually destroy cities if she wants to.

Doc Ock girl came back.
Mileena MadnessQuestion: Is the focus going to shift away from Sieg any time soon? Because the attention he's been getting lately is seriously making me consider dropping the series
He's the main character, so that should answer your question.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. And here I thought this had an ensemble cast. Bah
I guess that's an extra 20 minutes a week free, at least

Nope. Even if it did, it wouldn't have been able to balance 14 Servants and Masters lol.
Anyone notice how ambivalent the reactions have been to this series?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Well, yeah, that's Higashide for you. I still like what we've gotten so far more than FSF.
The consequence of adapting spin-offs, there quality varies.
Funny though how this clearly lacks the hype that Zero & UBW had. Doesn't help that this is the most anime/otaku-like Fate series.
Has he written anything else?

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Higashide? Quite a bit of stuff. Ayakashibito and Princess Waltz are two VNs of his, though I don't know how involved he was with the latter. I'm pretty sure there's other stuff he's written that had the same kind of issues.
Thing is, we're through volume two now but it's basically downhill from here. People don't particularly like the remaining villains and the ending is contentious. Silly, if you ask me. I'm not surprised people are less interested in it than Zero or the most popular part of the original story.
He was the main scriptwriter for Dangan Ronpa 3.

Basically, there's nothing particular interesting about the story in this one.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.In hindsight, I think mistakes were made killing off two characters who have a more established myth than some other characters. Siegfried had a whole epic to him and I pretty sure he died betrayed or something. So many versions of his myth, it's hard to keep straight. And Fran is based off quite a morally complex character. In contrast, Astolfo is a paladin, and that's all I know. Atalanta was part of a foot race to determine who would marry her, and that's it. Overall, I think more could have been done with certain characters than others, and that the "others" should have been the ones who were killed off.
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet Unless I grew it. In that case, throw it in the trash.Astolfo once rode a chariot to the moon.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. There's just nothing particularly striking about this show.
The character's aren't exactly compelling which is worsened by the haphazard focus on them, the designs vary from decent to generic, the battle scenarios aren't extreme enough with the animation kinda weak though its hard to measure up to Ufotable really & the sound design is just weird.
Apo is just a mediocre by the books spin-off which is sad cause there is some good ideas like the team battle format & the epic characters like Mordred, Joan of Arc, Achilles & Shakespeare.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
I think that's only Artemis who was summoned, and that was by hijacking Orion's Servant container or what ever the techno-babble used was.
And Ishtar, which was by possesing Rin or something.
