In 20XX, a man named Hikawa unleashes the Conception to the world. The Conception turned the city of Tokyo into a embryonic world known as the Vortex World. A world populated by demons and wandering spirits who died in the Conception. Witnessing it, a glowing sphere known as Kagutsuchi shines over the Vortex World.

Unbeknownst to Hikawa, it had other effects on the world. Somewhere in the United States, a large chunk of the country is torn and turned into a Vortex World similar to that of Tokyo. Thousands have died during the transformation in order for rebirth of a new world. But several people survived and now live in this world, trying to survive.

You are the lucky ones to survive. Awakening in a new world, you find yourself looking at a shining light of a young girl. She forcibly implants you with the Piece of God, turning you into a divinity.

Filled with divine energy, you decide to explore the Vortex World, trying to create your Reason. A Reason to determine the laws of the new world. Or you will choose to take creation to your own hands and destroy everything in sight.
