Only choose "Really a Useful Note" if you think the trope belongs in the Useful Notes/ namespace instead.
However, since you think it might be trivia instead, we have a dedicated project thread

This is really just one of several "tropes" in the main domain that, to me, are more trivia than storytelling devices; this is a common one, so I'm starting here. Whether aluminum Christmas trees or horse diving has existed in the real world might be of interest to the viewer but is irrelevant to the story.
