Dragon Ball FighterZ

Clearly we need to bring Super Saiyan 3 Nappa to this game from Heroes.

This song needs more love.

Makes me curious if when Bardock eventually makes it is he gonna be in his base form or his Super Saiyan form from the special.

A couple other dramatic finishers that definitely should happen. Mostly I'm hoping every character has at least a handful. Goku is about to have a billion of them, though. He has special moments with basically everyone on the roster, except Gotenks I think.

• Nappa -> defeat Piccolo to end the match, and/or with LVL 3 -> Piccolo's first death, with the tattered clothes and all, but without Kid Gohan present.
• Beerus -> defeat Gotenks -> either the literal spanking he gave him in the movie or in the "rapping the arm" bit he did in Super.
• Ginyu -> Defeat Krillin with Time Freeze mid-battle -> the bit where... well... Guldo has Krillin (and Gohan) in time freeze and nearly kills them. Quick, like the Hakai.
• Hit's about to only have like two of these, now that I think about it. Of the characters in the roster, literally the only ones he ever fought are Goku and Vegeta, and now he's hyperdead. So... maybe if he has the invisible ki blasts, defeating Goku with one gives him the "kills Goku" scene from his personal arc. And there's all sorts of ways they can give him the ass whooping he gave Vegeta in the Universe 6 arc as a cinematic.
• Gotenks too, now that I think about it. Especially since all he does is lose. There's the beginning of this as a special entrance with Fat Buu, which would be really cool if they can find a good way for him to be standing on a thing in the distance on every stage.

Don't forget the end of their first fight where where Hit holds out his hand & screams against Goku as he tries to punch him in the Kamehameha as apart of the latter's ultimate.

I don't think he needs to have it. You see in that trailer with Hit, Beerus, and Black had Goku doing the Spirit Bomb on Kid Buu.

Oh, man. I forgot about Yamcha. Poor Yamcha. He's got practically nothing, except what other characters do to him. There are characters I could see him being given cool cinematics on, but none of them are in this game.

He hasn't even met half the characters in the game, unless they pull from filler in which case he has slightly more to take from, but only slightly. They need to have Kid Goku in this game so they can add the scene from Dragonball where he beat (hungry) Goku.

Maybe, if they do it as a cinematic ending. But if they do it as a mid-battle finisher (like the Hakai), which it's decently suited for because it's so quick, it would need to be a version of something he already has - like how the Hakai is the EX Finger Flick.

I kind of want them to just make up their own cinematics for some of the weirder match-ups. Make one for Yamcha or Krillin defeating Hit. Make a cinematic for the Ginyu Force challenging Beerus.

They better have a cinematic where Krillen hits Goku with a rock.

Well that certainly help for the newer characters like Hit & Black especially for later Super characters.

You know, I like the option to choose colors for characters, but I'd like if the characters had alternate costumes. 18 and 17 could work well with their Tournament of Power outfits. I love Tenshinhan and Chiaotzu's Super clothes, but they feel incomplete without any of their Z outfits. Goku could wear his farmer outfit. Beerus could wear his formal attire (that headdress and robe thing all the Hakaishin wear to bow to Zeno in the manga).

Hell, do a whole DLC pack just consisting of the business suits from the Society Survival Saga April Fools thing for Blue Goku, Blue Vegeta, Krillin, Adult Gohan, Piccolo, Fat Buu, Tenshinhan, 18 with 17, and Freeza. Roshi too, if he's ever put in the game. The business characters are already in Heroes, why not?

I feel like it's been mentioned many times now why that's very difficult for them to do.

Footage is starting to come out for the most recent build shown off to press outlets.

With the way ASW animates its models it would take way too much time and resources to add alternate costumes.

A lot of cool stuff in this one, including some moveset rundowns near the end.

Is there a version for those of us who don't speak Spanish? Preferably English, or with English subtitles?

Guessing it's a combo attack done by having Adult Gohan, SS1 Goku, and Gotenks on a team. Supersonic Warriors 2 did the same thing as a secret Team Attack. If I'm right, and cinematic team attacks are a thing here, we could be in for some crazy cool shit. Here's a video of all the team attack combinations that were in Supersonic Warriors 2 (no idea why the thumbnail is a Fighterz screenshot):

Even just some of these could be insanely cool in Fighterz.

Looks like the attack is usually Gohan/Goten, but Goku is added if he's in the team.

Might as well add 18 does have an alt. She is seen in her track suit in story mode at one point.

What's this about alt costumes being hard? Unless there's something I'm missing all they do is just remove frames to simulate their somewhat choppy looking 2-D style of animation. It shouldn't be any harder than any other 3-D fighters alternate costumes.

Does she? That actually means she has 3 now because she's also seen with her Bo G outfit in storymode.

There's a TGN Anime video with a concise breakdown (and rough translation) of the recent footage involving Beerus (Hakai only kills with low health), Hit (had a stance mechanic, visible through the purple sparks on his hits) and Goku Black.

Eurogamer Portugal has stated that 2 more characters are confirmed to round off the base cast.

ASW's models are done via creating a basic 3D model and applying careful cel shading over every specific frame of animation to make it look 2D. Changing the costume means they would have to adjust the shading as well, which can take a long time. The only character in Guilty Gear Xrd that has an alternate costume is Elphelt for this reason.
