(Graciously donated by New Hope's Natural History Museum). It doesn't even just apply to animals! Dead trees move, decaying branches transforming into strong chains. Don't be too scared though, Citizen! Miss Shiranui is one of the sweetest women you'll ever meet, and a true heroine.
  • Profile: Rin's family immigrated to the US when she was very young, and she became aware of her gift shortly afterwards. "I was slightly disturbed by my Gift, honestly, no, that's an understatement, I was terrified." Rin has stated in an interview. The young Miss Shiranui was a shut in, terrified of her powers and people's reaction to them. However, when her parents passed away, caught in the crossfire of a hostage situation gone south, Rin decided that she wanted to make a difference. "I didn't want anyone else to...feel what I did. I could have saved them, but I didn't. It was awful. After that...I just had to do...something." Rin graduated from the KEU in 2113, at the age of only 20. Finally, her voice strengthens, giving anyone she wants to increased strength and durability for a short duration (exact time omitted by request).
  • Profile: Dressed in a monlit dress, a figure in silver...Moonsong is here! The secretive heroine debuted 4 years ago and has been fighting crime ever since. "I was born in Montreal. No, I'm not saying where. I used to want to be a singer, but let's just say something got in the way of that."Moonsong said when asked of her origin, and that was all she said on the subject. Famous for not doing many interviews, few can actually claim to have seen Moonsong unmasked....not even the majority of the HTV staff! Still, as private as she is, Moonsong has proven time and again that she's an amazing heroine.

  • Powers: A giant walks among us! Rook is an intimidating sight to behold, able to transform himself into a rocklike form resembling a living castle tower golem, 20 feet tall. A literal brick, Rook is tough, strong and surprisingly agile. He can extend his rocky limbs and is even able to shoot stone cannonballs from his back!
  • Profile: The Towering Titan debuted 12 years ago, and it looks like he has any intention of retiring any time soon! Rook is famous (and infamous) for both his strict focus on saving civilians rather than catching criminals...and his rather large property damage streak. Just as famous is his utter refusal to speak to anyone. He hasn't given any interviews at all, although those who contacted him through his HTV email have reported that he's an eloquent, well-read sort with a penchant for poetry. No matter his eccentricities, though, we do love our Rook!

This ballerina of the sky is always graceful, always poised and always dangerous to criminals.
  • Profile: Gwen Cress was born to be in the spotlight. A talented performer from childhood, Gwen is a celebrated ballerina, actress and model. However, due to the influence of her police officer father, Gwen soon decided to use her Gift in the field of superheroics. "I like making people happy, simple as that. Whether it's by entertaining them with a dance, or a movie, or by being a superhero. It's all the same. Honestly, I think Dad is just happy that I'm finally taking something seriously!" Gwen said with a laugh during her latest interview. Gwen currently lives with her wife and two adopted daughters in Portland. Aria flies over the sea every morning, and apparently, she's become quite the tourist attraction!

His maximum size was reached in one memorable incident when some poor gang members threatened his grandmother....a wolf the size of an indian elephant!
  • Profile: Frank Desmond was a problem child. An orphan with a chip on his shoulder, Frank joined a gang and for a time harbored ambitions of becoming a supervillain. He was strong, arrogant...and it broke his grandmother's heart. After a heated debate with her and major soul searching, Frank turned his life around. Moving to New Hope, Frank had the sheer gall to walk up to Wrath's office and demand to be taught how to be a hero. And now five years later, Wolfblood is one of the top superheroes in New Hope. We're all proud of you, Frank.

Sienna refused to give interviews and Mr and Mrs O'neil have requested some privacy in this affair. They did answer why Sienna is already active and not studying at the KEU. Apparently, the girl has a genius intellect and had already finished college-level education. They also said that her biological parents and grandparents were superheroes in Ireland, and had already taught her the ropes.
• Number 4: The Wrought Iron Hero, Martilyo!

His Gift having manifested as an almost miraculous ability to build things that fit within a narrow field (weapons), Ken has set out to do good. Now the sleek, silver powered armor and massive energy hammer of Martilyo patrols New Hope.
  • Profile: Ken is a young man on a mission. Born in the Philippines and moving to the USA ten years ago, Ken has always admired superheroes. "I loved them. They were so cool. Wrath, especially. He and Miracle were the first, and they changed the world." Ken commented in his first interview. He desperately wanted to be one of those legendary figures, even without (or so he thought) a Gift. "I was tinkering in the garage, trying to think of a way to make it without powers...and then I kinda zoned out...I don't even know how I built it...but that was when I made my first hammer." Gift found, Ken is now living his dream...and according to his colleagues, Martilyo is the biggest workaholic in Hero TV. "I never want to stop, man. This is who I am."
• Number 3: Dawn, the Maiden of Light!
  • Identity: Teresa "Tess" Evans

Still, Tess has strived to both honor her family's legacy as well as make a name for herself as a hero in her own right. "Us Gifted, we represent something. Whether good or bad, we represent something. I've simply chosen to represent the best ideals of us."

  • Profile: Vincent Trainor was a promising young athlete, on top of the world. That all changed when the accident happened. Vincent was blinded. Permanently. Bitter at his lack of sight, Vincent became depressed. It was a superhero that inspired him. "The Centurion was blind too. He visited me one day. It wasn't even that long. We just...talked." A week later, the Centurion sacrificed his life to stop a nuclear meltdown. On that day, Vincent vowed to himself that he would be a superhero. And now he was, one of the best in New Hope.

  • Powers: The King of Swords has a few abilities. First, he can instinctually comphrehend and master how to use any object that can be conceptually called a weapon. Secondly, a healing factor that heals wounds in minutes or hours. Lastly, he can create blades of pure energy from his hands that can cut through most anything. In addition, he is an incredible fighter and tactician.
  • Profile: Sa'ar is a military man. Dependable and tough, Sa'ar served in his native Israel for quite a while. A few years back, the King competed in the first ever Gifted Battle Tournament, coming out on top against many formidable foes. His championship battle against The Hawk is considered legendary. Soon after, the King moved to America. Sa'ar is currently a teacher at the KEU , mentoring the new generation of heroes to their full potential.

Just had the idea of possible past super heroes. This is literally just so Laz can go 'this guy? he was a real hero'

• WEIGHT CLASS/ SOLADAD
• Identity: Unknown
• Origin: The Mexico-California border
• Powers: Weight Class is potentially the strongest being to ever walk the earth! His strength, speed and durability seem to warp, depending on his opponents. For example, while fighting thugs, he exhibited physical prowess similar to an olympic athlete. However, while fighting gifted villains such as La Serpiente Rojo, Weight Class exhibited abilites far beyond former villians.

Profile: No one knows who the super hero known as Weight Class once was. He first appeared in 2060s, wiping out a human trafficking raquet within a week. From there, he was a common sight around the border between California and Mexico. It is unknown if Weight-Class could speak english, as he refused to speak to Hero TV. However, Weight Class vanished a few years before The reappearance of The White and the death of Miracle.

Hey, guys. Mod Gear here, and our HTV Official staff have decided to add a new section here on the website. This is a listing of the most infamous supervillains to have crawled out of the woodworks, written up by yours truly. We update every week, so check us out. Knowing is half the battle, after all!

The First

• Designation: The White
  • Identity: Unknown
  • Status: Deceased
  • Active: August 2071 to October 2072
  • Defeated By: Miracle (Click Link to Read More)
  • Threat Level: S
  • Pic: [[The picture shows a hooded man, dressed in an all white ensemble, white robes over white chain mail, plate greaves and gauntlets, a cloak and hood. He didn't seem to wear a mask showing an inhuman, grinning skeletal face. He held a rapier and seemed to be bowing.]]
  • Powers and Abilities: The White's Gift was assimilation. He took the powers of whatever hero he killed. Thankfully for all of us, it wasn't as strong as the original and he could only use at most two powersets at a time. Also a gifted hand to hand combatant.
    • Physical: The White had Overdrive's (File Link) physical strength as well as his ability to grow stronger from absorbing electricity. He also had Accel's super speed.
    • Mental: The White had Victory Cry's (File Link) telepathy. He also had Junkyard's (File Link) tinkering.
    • Energy: He had Inferno's (File Link) pyrokinesis and Tsunami's (File Link) hydrokinesis.
    • Other: Lastly, he had Mister Obscure's (File Link) generation of sense-depriving darkness.
    • Unconfirmed other stolen abilities.
  • Profile: Easily the most infamous and terrifying villain in New Hope's history. The White was only active for little over a year, but his deeds forever left a mark on the city. Who he was is unknown. Starting off as a serial killer targeting heroes, the White soon escalated and declared his goal of Gifted dominion over the planet. He viewed heroes as "weak" chosing to cling to humans "when they were so much more".
  • Defeat: On October 31st, 2072, The White shocked everyone when in broad daylight he attacked the home of Katherine and Matthew Evans, the twins Miracle and Wrath (File Link). What followed was a furious brawl that spanned the city. HTV cameras were only able to catch the first part of the battle, until the heroes manage to actually push him into the sea. Hours later, a highly traumatized Matthew returned to the city, carrying his fallen sister. They had landed in a small island where the White had defeated Matthew and almost assimilated him, Katherine on her last legs had grabbed hold of the villain and with her fading strength, lifted him into the sky. The White used Overdrive's strength to deal a lethal blow, but Miracle managed to incinerate him using one last Solar Blast. Miracle's heroic last stand was mourned by everyone that day, and Matthew was never the same. Still, it was the day that New Hope's worst was taken down once and for all.
