Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links (Mobile)

Looks like a duel links event for Sora is under way. I've been waiting literally years to have him so i guess im dusting off my DL account.

I missed Paradox's second event, although, it's not his unlock event yet anyway so I'm fine with it.

I'm sad I didn't notice DSOD Bakura's second unlock event has new skill for him, though.....now I will have to unlock it the harder way when DSOD Bakura is put into Gate......

Anyway, don't forget to unlock Rio, her first unlock event's getting close to the last episode.

......Between Paradox having 1900-2000 DEF monsters and his Reverse Trap card which is dumb overpowered shit in a Raid Duel event due to the way people farm the event, this is probably the absolute worst Raid Duel event they ever held.

Playmaker, Go, and Soulburner are the starting characters, with Blue Angel teased. Oh boy Salads. Guess they weren't willing to wait on those. Next box has Cynet Mining and Pot of Duality in case 20 cards wasn't consistent enough.

Time to go INTO THE VRAINS! Vrains world is out, as is the new box. so far you start with Soulburner (?!) then unlock The Gore and Playmaker. There is also an event to help facilitate link summoning. In addition, the current box lets Kaijus debut, and the mini selection box implies Mathmechs in the future as well.

We already have some Mathmech stuff in an old box, actually.

It's just that, for whatever reason, they decided to put Mathmech in before we got Xyz, so we got one Synchro and none of the Tuners because two of them mention Link and one of them mention Xyz.

And even after we got Xyz, we still don't have Diameter yet (the only Tuner that simply mention Synchro and Xyz, so we should be able to have it already even before we got Arc-V world....)

Hopefully, now that we have Links, we'll get all the Tuners, alongside the Mathmech Xyz monsters, which we also have none of.

Personally, im hoping we get the krawler links so i can finally be vindicated for going in HARD on that box in the past.

Rio's new Skill is....fine, I guess.

But what we also need is a Skill that lets us change the level of all her water birds on the field to 5, so that we actually can bring out Zereort and Crystal Zero using just her own cards.....

Well.....Blue Angel event, the first unlock event in Vrains world, finally ended, and it was kinda hell to go through. Mainly because her AI for some reason is so slow in doing her Link Summon spam. She can spend as high as 15 minutes on her turn!

I read a theory in a discord server I'm in that does make sense, the theory says that the slowness is probably because her AI takes the Cheer boost into account, so the AI keeps trying to find a way to do a lot of Link Summon.....while also trying to win the game or at least trying to minimize the damage I might gonna do on her.

Galaxy-Eyes and Gouki are finally dead (or at least heavily nerfed), and thank goodness for that. Raidraptors are coming, and I'm torn. I like them a lot, but they look pretty bad.

Yeah, Xyz Galaxy deck is finally dead. Good riddance. Literally the only counter to that deck is to go first and have your opening hand contain a disruption. That's dumb, too much RNG, meanwhile, your opponent basically just click one skill button to win.

Gouki, that's quite an unexpected murder Konami did. 3 core cards being limited 3, and Suprex being there means they also lost the ability to use any other skill besides Main Event.

As for Raidraptor, I'm actually surprised, we got decent enough selection of cards already. Not going to be tier 1 deck, especially with no Satellite Cannon Falcon (and we definitely won't get Ultimate Falcon for a long time) but at the very least enough for a good fun deck against NP Cs. Unlike Rokkets.....

Rush Duels are coming to Duel Links.

I guess we have two completely different games in one app now. I imagine this will slow down the release of cards in the speed duel format, which will probably be for the best. Hopefully there's a separate gem pool for Rush so that building a deck for one doesn't hamper the other.

Well, Gouki is back to full power since my last post here, and we also have Serena in the game now, but Lunalight is still missing some key cards.

And yeah, would be interesting to see how they will handle Rush Duel in DL.

Appearently War Rock sucks. That's what my deck is themed after.

War Rock can sometimes do well. Only problem is that it's a battle-focused deck, which is, eh, a playstyle that is kinda being phased out in the current DL meta.

Still, sometimes it can fetch a win against unprepared opponent.

Rush duels are here. However some of the cards that only the npc can use have their requirements in English but their effects are in Japanese.

Not some, just one (Hot Off the Press).

Although, Cyber Falcon also has an issue, a different one, where its english text is copied from TCG text, which means it has a line of text implying "Cyber" archetype exist in Rush, when there's no such thing as archetype in Rush.

Also, Mimi's unlock event in Sevens world coming today iirc, and Ghost Girl's unlock event in Vrains world coming later this month.

Inflict burn based on the number of revealed monsters. It's a very annoying card right now since right now most decks run like 25+ monsters out of 30 cards, so huge chance the card will reveal at least 4 monsters, which means you take instant 2000 damage to the face. Thankfully the card is currently NPC only.

I have to ask which one...dian Keto has like several different versions and support throughout the years. Also how is rush format treating you guys? I havent played duel links in several months but I am intrigued to play a much wider playerbase...but DL is much less forgiving than master duel is when it comes to deckbuilding...hmm...

Ghost Girl is joining Duel Links with vouchers to unlock characters.

Who cares about Altergeist when we've got Effect Veiler coming. Age of handtraps is here.

It was more about the vouchers.

Also, for the Rush side, Roa is coming in November with his Royal Rebel deck.

Which also means a new Rush box is coming, since I doubt we will get his cards only from drop and level up reward.
