So, the questions are:
- Is Inconsistent Coloring is both "artists / creators making mistakes when coloring", and "lighting in the environment changes colors of things".
- Is "A character's eyes, literally change color, instead of just looking like it does", a trope, which would be my current Kaleidoscope Eyes TLP.

I think Inconsistent Colouring should be limited to when an object changes colour for no In-Universe reason, rather than based on ambient lighting.
I would agree that a character with Technicolor Eyes (plus Inconsistent Colouring) would be an appropriate subtrope of each. I'd also say that this would belong on the Bad Writing Index, because the creator values "special eyes" above Internal Consistency, and good writing should switch those priorities.

Actually, why am I running a TLP, when I could just revert my changes to Kaleidoscope Eyes and then edit to fit?
Anyone against the idea of redefining Kaleidoscope Eyes as when eye color actually changes, instead of when eyes appear to have different colors due to lighting effects or something?
