I'm planning on starting a new thread over in forum games, but since I don't really make threads often, I'm curious; how would you go about making an accent mark in the thread's title, like one of the Pokémon threads? Would you use the standard HTML (like writing é for é), copy and paste an already accented version of the letter, or is this something that can only be done by request? It's not terribly necessary for me to include the accent mark, but I just want to know how it's done in this instance. Thank you in advance!

It's never fully reliable. You can use the accented 'e' character by typing it on the keypad (Alt-0233 = é), for example, but the forum software doesn't always properly store it in thread titles. You can also try explicitly using the HTML character entity code. If it doesn't work, moderators can fix the thread title if you send a Holler.

Thank you, this is certainly helpful! I'll try something and see how it turns out.

(Also, didn't realize [= =] doesn't work on HTML. That's also good to know.)
