Cena is a surprisingly good actor and the song choice was weird, but I guess he is trying to get back home.
People said this looks direct to video, but I beg to differ from the animation quality, damn. The countryside is beautiful and I wish animated movies used more rural landscapes like this, and I am love with the shot of the cork tree and how they used the bridge in Ronda!
I was confused about the girl, then I realized they became friends because they both love flowers. (Awww) This movie looks really feel-good and I'm hoping it stays grounded without pop culture stuff :p

I looked at it, like the story, cast is solid, character design is very nice.... and then I noticed it has the same release date as Star Wars. Hooo boy, let's hope Fox isn't sending Ferdinand out to slaughter.
Second trailer stills says it will come out the same day as Star Wars Episode VIII.
