No one seems to have adressed Fate's question about the mysterious black spot in the sky. Bardiche is currently in standby mode, which would like a triangle-like yellow acessory, instead of an axe.

Before I post again, there's something I'd like to bring up.
The main reason I decided to bring this RP over to TV Tropes from its original forum was because it was starting to drag and I thought a reboot and some fresh new players would help bring it back to life.
While I personally feel I've been writing a little better for this attempt than my previous one, things are still dragging. So what I'd like to ask is if this actually helped at all (or for the newcomers if this has actually been enjoyable or not). Granted, I imagine at least part of the slowness is due to the fact we're in Exposition Land and that tends to be kind of boring.
In all honesty, I'm perfectly fine dropping this if no one else is really into it. I'd like to continue, if at all possible, but I'm not going to force people to stick around if they aren't feeling it.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!I'm enjoying it, just currently in Testing Hell, hence lack of posts.
All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world.Still rather invested in this and despite the current slowness, I think it did help at least a little. For myself, I'm just currently waiting on others.
Yeah, same here. Still interested, just lacking on free time.
It's up to you whether or not the device Hikaru summoned works, James.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!I edited in something for the cat into my last post just in case someone was waiting on me.
On a bit of a random note, I'm guessing you probably didn't mean to put Hikaru's name here, James:
Yeah, it was meant to be Hayate ... It was pretty late, OK? =V
Anyway, fixed and will post again later.

You don't need to wait for Nman, James; he's all right with waiting until Fate's done communicating with her home world.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!I'm probably going to hand wave the rest of the communicator business in my next post so we can get to the first world, as it looks like things have slowed down a bit.
Is everyone all right with this?
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Sounds good to me!
All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world.Aye aye, Cap'n!
I'm cool with that.
And just to confirm the unanimity of such a decision, sounds good to me as well. I'll just a quick post in response to Inori shortly and then you may proceed.
EDIT: And done.

As you can see, it's been a while since anyone's posted in this RP, much less myself.
In my case...to be perfectly honest, I'm about ready to just let this die. I'd love to try to keep going, and maybe actually finish it. That's why I actually tried giving a revival here after the private attempt fell through. But it honestly doesn't feel like much has changed for this particular story.
Maybe the rest of you feel differently, but as it stands unless I get a sudden burst of inspiration for it chances are I'm not going to be posting again anytime soon.

Welcome to the discussion for a Tale of Destruction and Friendship!
This is where out-of-character discussion takes place. Feel free to ask for a recap, ask questions, etc. For anyone who desires it, we also have a Skype chatroom for live discussion; contact D.L. Yomegami on Skype if you'd like to get in on it (MAKE SURE YOU TELL ME WHO YOU ARE).
This is also where potentially useful information about the RP can be found.
Hikaru's Refuge is the main base of the RP, and where the player characters will normally be residing. For easy reference, here's what can be found there.
On the whole it's a very small area, consisting of Hikaru's house, surrounded by her garden. This, in turn, is surrounded by grassland that seems to go out forever. No matter how far one walks out into the grassland, they can turn to have Hikaru's residence right behind them. It's always daytime, although it's not always clear; sometimes there are rainstorms. There isn't anything resembling a sun; light just seems to come straight down.
The garden consists of a wide variety of plants, with no real rhyme or reason to their organization apart from what Hikaru thinks would look nice. There's an equal mix of flowering plants and other flora, with a few groves of small trees here and there. One grove of trees right next to the house's left wall has a swinging bench hanging from it. Most of the plants are purely decorative, although one section of the garden to the house's front right grows a wide variety of edible plants, including fruit trees. Pathways made of dark, square-shaped pieces of stone criss-cross through the garden, with one such path leading straight to the house's front door.
Behind the house is a dais made out of white stone, with a stairway of a similar material leading up to it. There are seven indentations in it around its outside, apparently meant to fit some kind of pole.
The house itself is a two-story building painted white that wouldn't look out of place in a typical suburb. It has no porch, but all of its rooms sans the bathrooms have windows.
The first floornote has four main rooms: an entry hall, a kitchen/dining room, a living room, and a utility room. There is also a bathroom.
Going up the stairs in the back hallway goes up to the second floor, which mostly consists of bedrooms and another bathroom. On the whole they look more or less like the entry hall and back hallways on the first floor.
