I honestly hate her and wish she wasn't here.
Both her and the teacher are blatantly filler, but if I have to be honest, I actually prefer her over the three main girls.
You can be filler without feeling like filler, though. Like, Sensei feels like she has a part in the story and a reason to be into Yuiga much more than Asumi does.
Sensei isn't really filler she has firmly established role in story and by that I mean plot unrelated to romance. Ashumi also had some contributions, but it didn't have to be her in particular.

New chapter is out.
Yuiga continues to cement his position as best girl by knowing how to read the situation perfectly. Also, senpai's smug grin at the end is gold.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Wait, why is it against the rules for students to eat food on the way home?
Mistakes were made.
I wouldn't be surprised if some schools have rules like that; Japan's pretty strict when it comes to students' activities both in and outside of school, such as being home by curfew, no relationships (or at least being open about them), no karaoke without their parents, and no part-time jobs, among others.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.I'd assume schools wouldn't want students loitering around town while in their uniforms since anything bad they do would potentially reflect negatively on the school.
One little touch I always liked about the Kirisu-focused chapters is no matter what the context, she's always frowning, even while scared. It's like her eyes are permanently stuck in an annoyed arch.

"Mistakes were made." - Kirisu-sensei is such a bumbling dork.
Yeah, she still looks good in it.
What's with the officer fashion police? Does Japan has no real crimes? And after bothering an innocent woman over her clothes, he has the gall to tell her not to do anything confusing! smh
Yuiga really has a good insight and can react quickly.
Aww man, Yuiga is such a good boy, he even bought sensei ice cream.
Ouch, after all that trouble, she met the one person she'd want to meet the least.
As for chapter 42 Uruka get ahead again. Fumino need more than one sleepover to have shot on win by this rate.
I don't know, you see those Yuragi Sou No Yuuna San crossover pictures, where each girl was shown with her counterpart? That sure wasn't Uruka who got the main girl slot.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Uruka hasn't gone and cuddled with the leading man yet.
That said, this is probably the best Uruka chapter so far on account of not just being about her crush on Nariyuki.
I think it's the best chapter in the whole series so far because of that. The sports person failing super hard in the last or first competition is a pretty ubiquitous romcom trope for some reason, but it was done really well here.
Unrelated: I was reading the early chapters on a whim. I completely understand that it wasn't sustainable in the long term, but I think it's a shame the "strategic studying" segments, where Nariyuki helps the girls get over academic hurdles with mad studying tips, or putting things in perspective started taking the backseat. That's the gimmick that hooked me in the first place.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018Well I didn't say Fumino (as only other player in game) has no chance, just that she really really need step up her game, because her best flag so far, the sleepover, got completely overshadowed with little to no effort.
I don't know, this almost seemed like an anti-win flag for Uruka. It's all about how even if she loses and feels disappointed, she's going to be fine because she's strong enough to move on and keep smiling...
It almost does, but it's also what makes her "beautiful and dazzling" and hit's all right spot with Yuiga. Considering Naryuki's growing awareness it would be extremely difficult for her loose at this point.
Also I hate notion for weak girl winning over strong because they can bear it. So I truly hope (and believe) that's not what author went here for. It would ruin so far pretty good writing.

I don't know, to me it doesn't look like any of the girls wouldn't be able to handle losing.
Yet you assume they set one heroine to be especially able to be bear loss and use such praiseworthy trait as justification for potential loss? That's exactly what I find be bad writing.
Well again I don't think that's what author went for with this chapter, so it doesn't really matter.

It's not that I would otherwise think that she wouldn't be able to handle it, it's the narrative specifically pointing out that she could handle it. It's not that Nariyuki would look at all the girls and say "She'd be fine getting rejected, better go for my little sister because she's the most dependant on me."
It's more of a case of the author setting up a cushion so that the reader knows Uruka will be fine if she loses. It's not so much a "justification" as a way to prevent a sad ending no matter who he goes for. On the other hand, Fumino doesn't need one because she's so independent, and I wouldn't be surprised if Rizu got one too that shows she's starting to understand her emotions even outside of Nariyuki.
It's same thing no matter how you spin it. Anyway she just lost her last chance to win with her club mates . Using that precedent for yet another loss would make her more of Cosmic Plaything rather than serving as anything "cushion" like
In other gand, It would work very well show her caring side, dedication and mental fortitude which all left very strong impression on Yuiga and push his feelings he is not aware to surface.

More Uruka filler. What a drag she's the most boring girl by far.
Boring or not (according to your taste), considering she is hot contender for winner it's anything but filler, especially in comparison to sensei, senpai or Rizu who aren't even in game.
edited 4th Dec '17 7:23:44 PM by Tenzen12
What? Rizu used to have the highest chance of winning before chapter 39 when Fumino took the lead.Uruka still has the lowest chance of the main trio of girls.
"Yuiga and I decided that we're both too busy with our studying to date right now, so it's better to just be friends going forwards."
But I know, don't ask for logic in a romcom.
Asumi's growing on me, though. She still feels slightly fillerish but she's likable beyond that.
