Starring Christian Bale and Oscar Isaac - so essentially Batman and Poe Dameron - this is apparently one of Hollywood's very first big-budget all-star Oscar Bait projects revolving around the infamous Armenian Genocide, which tends to be overshadowed by the World War II Holocaust in popular media.

Does anybody recognize the modern song played in the second half of the second trailer? It's been a major Ear Worm for me since said trailer was released literally two nights ago.

Same thing happens with any video mentioning the genocide.

A lot of the negative reviews online on IMDB also can be assumed to be pro-Turkish trolls; the film has garnered at least 80,000 reviews but only has been screened a total of three times at the Toronto film festival last year.

Although it's worth mentioning that genuine reviews tended to give the film a mixed reception, which is probably the reason of why the movie is only coming out in the US this April so that they patch it up.

I think I know what the most of the reviews are going to say: "I didn't love it but I do admire the filmmakers' ambition."
