Because that's not a trope. It's just an excuse to gush. Well, The Scrappy and whatnot aren't tropes either, even if they can occasionally be invoked. The point is that such an article would collect nothing but people saying, "Hey, this character is liked", which is perhaps even more pointless than the opposite. One generally expects that writers intend their characters to be liked, or at least appreciated, aside from the occasional Hate Sink, and so there isn't even the cachet of "we're so edgy, look at us hate on stuff we were supposed to like" about it.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"The only reason I'm not voting to scrap The Scrappy is because it's a reaction that's the opposite of the intended reaction.
The audience reacting as intended is pretty much meaningless.
Check out my fanfiction!Indeed. There's a reason why So Good Its Good is not a trope.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"That's kinda off topic... (and we do have So Cool Its Awesome)
We don't need justice when we can forgive. We don't need tolerance when we can love.Which is Sugar Wiki and explicitly not supposed to be wicked anywhere.

Hey, why isn't there a trope that's the antithesis to The Scrappy/a version of Ensemble Darkhorse but for a non-minor character? Just a trope that refers to a major character who is exceptionally well-like and received in YMMV?
