I see we're still hiding weights in the Santa outfits. Suppose if Amelia gets to have miniskirt armor so does Nino. Sothis is not dressed appropriately for this weather, but I guess being a dragon ghost has its advantages.

Can't wait to see what the Angel of Death looks like.

Ok, did anyone not think it was Caeda? I myself did and I've now seen several different people make the same mistake. We need to invent a new colour just to differentiate FE characters.

I was kinda hoping they would have younger Zephiel dubbed by Chris Hackney.

Huh, a Y!Zephiel as seasonal alt. It makes me glad that I played Blazing Sword all those years.

And Soothis is the 1st alt for 3 Houses. Sure y not?

So I never realized how similar Elice & Ceada looked. Kinda creepy now that I'm looking now.

Isn't Sothis Three Houses's mascot?

I admit I kind of forgot Elice was a character and thought it was Caeda too, since Caeda actually fucking matters in Marth's games and Elice kind of doesn't?

Again, I wouldn't know since I've never touched it. I was under the impression that Elice just exists to be a Damsel in Distress & being Merric's love interest. Who I could've sworn was supposed to Linde.

I still consider Caeda to be the 1st Female Lord in the franchise.

I mistook Elice for Caeda on the thumbnail, but once I got a closer look, I went, "Oh, wait, no, that's Marth's sister." It's probably telling that, despite remembering that he has a sister, I still had to look up her name again.

One of the whole points of Heroes is that it lets them expand just a bit on characters characterization that they might not have in their original.

IE Grima's characterized by their role in Shadows of Valentia and what their creator did ie tried to kill him because he couldn't control him. EXCEPT HE WAS AIMING FOR A PERFECT BEING AND NOT CONTROLLING HIM WAS THE LOGICAL CONCLUSION! What a fucking dumbass.

Sothis gets dialogue that shows she may not have created Fodlan, but she has created other worlds before she ever came from SPACE.

The fact Dragon Slaying weapons also don't work on her reinforces the whole Nabataens are dragons, but she is fundamentally different from her creations.

She's not a playable character?

I seriously doubt that's their priority when it comes to FEH.

It's not a major priority, but it is something they've been doing for awhile for characters that don't have much to begin with.

They've already shown they're incorporating Heroes skills into the main games with Three Houses to show the influence goes both ways, so to simply ignore it is foolhardy.

Oh wow. Jamieson Price plays not just Binding Blade Zephiel, but also his younger variant here. That's a huge Playing Against Type.

I just want to know Jaffar's skill set since he's the freebie.

Minty Cane+ (Heals 5HP per hit, standard dagger debuff), Reciprocal Aid, Def/Res Bond, Goad Armor.

Got Sothis... -Spd. And Zephiel... -Atk. Well I got them, and I'm not interested in seriously building them anyway.

I do wonder why so many Gachas have Christmas alts. I get the appeal of Halloween alts and Summer alts and see how they can justify themselves appearing every year but is there really that much of a market for people that specifically want to dress their faves in santa suits?

Impossibly fancy santa◊ suits◊ mind◊ don't get me wrong but it just seems an incredibly specific aesthetic.

I legit wonder if they regret killing off Laegjarn because they sure aren't letting Laevatein to be her own character.

Got Zephiel on the first circle and his voice isn't quite as bad as I thought it would be from the trailer

Santa/Sothis/Saint Starfall are real in said settings.

And Japan celebrates Christmas as a holiday to spread happiness, which characters tend to do when dressing as Christmas themed.

From what I learned from Persona, Christmas has some romantic elements in Japan? Is that why Robin and Tharja were the first Christmas alts?

If so, they must've really latched onto those 60s "sexy times by the hearth" songs.

Christmas in Japan is known as a season to eat fried chicken, courtesy of an intense advertising campaign by KFC. I am being dead serious.

In general, Japan has completely embraced all the non-religious aspects of the holiday, including Santa, gifts, decorations, etc. This is both as an excuse to throw a party and an excuse to sell things to people who want to throw a party.

There's also a romantic aspect to it that isn't present at all in the West, sort of like Valentine's day in the sense that being alone on Christmas is seen as a reason to feel lonely. But you can also spend it with friends or family without being seen as weird.

I don't believe there's any connection between that and sexy Santa outfits. They just like sexy Halloween costumes as much as anyone.
