Needs Help: Funny.The Autistic World Of The Autist

I genuinely am not sure what I'm looking at. I know "Moment" subpages tend to go by somewhat different rules but there's nothing funny about the image in of itself. Maybe it's supposed to be funny with the caption, but that's another problem. I mean, humor is subjective of course but it's hard to find anything funny when I can't even tell what I'm looking at.

Yeah, this one's completely lost on me as well.

I think it's because one of the characters is laughing at a funny video and, well, since that this is the funny page, I thought it would be quite fitting.

If you like, I could always upload a new image and caption. I was thinking of that bit in 'TAWOTA Therapy sessions 4' where Imaginee wrote down his Evil Plan on the walls of his cell using his own poo and Bob saying "Please tell me that you did not write on the walls using your own feces", with the caption saying "He would but that would be bullshit".

What do you guys think.

So again, that doesn't look like anything. It's 100% impossible to make out what that is.

Same as the current image. You say it's someone laughing at a video. I get that idea, but there's no way to tell that. I thought he was laughing at the logos on the image. What are those, anyway?

So, what do you recommend what would be a good page image?

I mean, what are the qualities you are looking for?

The general rule of thumb for the site is Clear Concise Witty.

Neither of these are very clear. It's impossible to tell what's happening in either.

The first one is sort of concise because it's one panel, but since it also has the logos (seriously, what are they supposed to be?) and seems to rely on the caption, it's not even that concise. The second is long.

As for witty... this is subjective, but sometimes you can know when something objectively be witty. Since the images are so unclear that they effectively have no meaning, they cannot be witty.

The suggestion is worse, as it's more confusing than the current. Also, if those are supposed to be speech bubbles, the text is unreadable.

I say we just pull the current regardless. I can't make heads or tails of it.

Sure thing. Plus, the series isn't that popular enough to warrant it's own page image for the Funny page.

I also notice that the Narm page (The Autistic World Of The Autist) has another not great image (but still leagues better than this one).

The narm page can work because the caption points out the animation quality.

Not sold on that either. As someone who hasn't read the comic, I fail to see how it's funny.

It Makes Sense in Context means it doesn't make sense out of context, and page images are mostly out of context. Or at least, out of that particular kind of context.
