They mean what they say. They have no hard-coded function; they exist mainly to allow interested parties to search/filter the topic list for issues they prefer to work with.

- Complaining: People use the page to complain about the trope/work
- Not Tropeworthy: It's not Tropeworthy
- Duplicate Trope: It's a duplicate of another trope
- Not Thriving: It's not getting wicks
- Snowclone: It's a Snowclone
- Really a Useful Note: It's Not a trope but a Useful Note
- Does Not Illustrate: The picture doesn't illustrate the trope
- Just a Face and a Caption: Just a Face and a Caption
- Poor Image: The image is of poor quality
- Duplicate Image: The image is already used on another page
- Suggestion: Someone has a suggestion for an imageless page
- NSFW/Image Macro: Image is NSFW or part of an Image Macro
- Spoiler: The image is a spoiler
- Changed w/o discussion: The image was changed without making an IP thread

Also, sometimes users in IP use "Suggestion" if they feel a suggestion they have fits better than what's already there.

The list needs to be reworked, but it's probably not a priority item for the devs right now.

It used to be true that the subject heading of a TRS or IP thread could be anything, like most other forums. They often didn't say what the problem was, though, which is important for a Workshop thread... so now you pick the subject heading from a list instead of writing your own.
