Corvo uses Bend Time again. As time is frozen, Corvo takes 3 grenades and primes them, then lets them go in the air. As they hover there, frozen, Corvo takes his pistol out and fires a shot at each of them. Bend Time then runs out.

3 grenades are now flying towards Renee in 3 directions, and will explode after touching anything or after a very short amount of time. Corvo, now out of grenades, slowly backs off from the gas.

I do have a few shots too. I hope you can verb this!

-She slows time to an halt once more. She then walks around Tony, firing what appears to be lasers in different places to land on him, including the back, over the head and in the crotch.-

While in time stop, he kinda looks like a christmas tree composed of light. Pretty. And time resumes.

-Time flows back.-

As the grimdark rain continues to fall, the thorny cloud of grimdarkness descends ever lower, nearly reaching the ground. For those paying attention, a girl can be seen floating within the grimdarkness - a girl with white hair, dark grey skin, and glowing eyes.

The cloud certainly catches his attention, instilling within Anolis a returning sense of fear. He waits for some sort of eldritch creature to come out of the throes of the cloud, but to his surprise, it's...a human?

Another human girl? ...wait...hold up, she, she can't be...

Relief, yet bewilderment, washes over him as he recognizes who she is. He's seen her before; he sure as hell never met her, absolutely not, but...just what the hell was going on here?

Renee continues preparing her strike, and as the flames wash over her she is bruised and cut by the shrapnel, but unburnt

"You fool. I'm pacted to the Azure flame Mana, and you thought explosions would hurt me? That's just poor planning. You get one more chance before this blade goes through your gut."

Renee's sword turns from its usual blue to a vibrant pink, and it begins to pulse with energy. Whatever she's planning, it's not going to be pretty for anyone in the way.

Meanwhile, Tony takes the brunt of the attacks, crouching over in pain from the lasers. However, it appears that no effort was made to deal with his previous attack, whose blades rush in with greater speed still from all directions, enclosing Tony and his assailant.

"Well... I suppose I'll leave the collection to Renee. Bye bye!"

Tony pulls a charm from around his neck, and mutters a quick incantation before being lifted off in a whirlwind of feathers, leaving the circle of blades to strike one last time before he leaves the fight.

Bye then. You got homework to do.

-She stops a bit of the scythes, but still gets hurt by the rest of them.-

Bleh. Blood tastes. Let's fix this.

-She begins to glow a bright white as a sphere of dust starts to stop around her. She then heals as if the figut has been played backward. She then checks her glove as it stops glowing.-

Good, still 50% left of charge... Now who'se this edgy girl in the sky...?

Corvo blinks to right in front of her and attempts to stab her in the abdomen, followed up by a slash to the thigh.

Renee staggers at the attacks, blood flowing, but she keeps her composure. Taking the opportunity of having her opponent so close, she takes her sword and slashes through Corvo's chest, though he feels nothing. Yet. A rift appears where her blade travelled, the same color as the weapon, and begins to collapse in on itself pulling on Corvo as it does so. It would probably be a bad idea to be there when it closes.

-She aims a headshot at her-

Boom. *Boom*

Corvo blinks away 2 times, then runs out of mana. About 30 ft away, he looks to see what the rift does.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply an auto-hit, though that's my fault for not being clear. What I was aiming to establish was that the attack is not harmful per se, but will become so if Corvo doesn't shadowstep out of the way or otherwise evade. The rift isn't to a location, but rather something that is about to go boom.

The rift implodes with a show of force, dragging in the shot aimed at Renee with it as it reseals itself with a blast of energy. Notably, Renee is unfazed by the effect despite being right next to it. Looking around to gauge her surroundings, she turns around begins to run, leaving a massive orange bomb in her place.

"You know what, I'm out! Enjoy the fireworks, cuz you're about to be very sleepy."

"Typical Tony, getting into fights he can't win and then hoping I'll save his ass."

(Hi there. I have been doing a lot of reading into this "Be your avatar" kind of thing, and it seems interesting and kind of fun. I have never joined in on these kinds of R Ps here, or roleplayed here in general.

Is this thing still going on? Or is this version on hiatus?)

(It's kind of start-and-stop; there've been times when the Arena never stopped for breath, and times where it stood stagnant for weeks on end; this one's, eh, somewhere between)

(It is pretty roleplay-light, though; much less worrying about character personality and such than, say, the We Are Our Avatars series. If you want to play, click the lampshade head guy in the top right of your screen to mess with your profile and upload an avatar; fair warning, it rejects pictures smaller than 100x100, even though it didn't use to. Also, a lot of people use spoiler markup for out-of-character stuff; the markup for it is [[spoiler:whatever]])

Haven't decided yet. I'm thinking about Doomguy or a Tactical Doll. I need to sleep soon though, so I don't think I can RP for the next couple of hours.

No problem. I might not join for a while. Got to fully decide on what character to pick. How powerful are bullets in this RP?

Are you saying you are trying to decide between picking Alucard or trying an MLP character in the arena?

Rainbow Dash did show up once in v3, but she got a bit distracted by Grunty's trivia game show and didn't really do too much fighting.

Alucard is damn near god tier; I'd bother the guy who wrote the opening post (IIRC this is Trip's thread but I'd double check if I were you) and ask him what nerfs will make him fair. Having seen the Rainbow Dash vs Starscream video, I think I'd suggest asking him about the pony as well, just to be sure.

I have approval to use my OC, Luke Aura. He's my current icon.

Part of me wants to use him, due to his combat style, that's far different from the usual fighting styles you see.
